Sadie Sink, by Stranger Things-Remove, will reportedly join the MCU and has been cast in a role in Tom Holland's fourth Spider-Man movie. Although Marvel does not yet confirm the news, comic book fans have been busy trying to find out who SINK can portray, and there are more theories than you might think.
Sources revealed to the deadline on Wednesday that SINK has been cast in a Spidey 4 role, but stopped revealing who she will play. Based on stories told by others who are thrown into prominent roles in the MCU, it would honestly not surprise me to find out that Sink himself does not even know yet. But the leading theory among the fans is that Sink has been thrown to play Jean Gray.

It is no secret that X-Men is slowly incorporated into the MCU. While Hugh Jackman got the chance to repeat the role of Wolverine, it seems likely that the other mutants will be produced by a new generation of actors. One of them may very well be sinking, and thanks to the actor's red hair, Jean is the X-man, which many have jumped immediately to when they joined the Marvel dots.

But what will that role be?
Since SINK will make his MCU debut in a Spider-Man movie, others have pointed to characters within Spider-Verse the Stranger Things that Star can play. Gwen Stacey is a popular choice and although she probably forms the character with blond hair, she has had red hair before. Lowering that is thrown as Gwen can also further indicate the introduction of more spider people after a bread crumbs left in the latest section of Daredevil: Born Again.
There is also the opportunity to sink has been taken in to play Marvel's most famous red -haired of all – Mary Jane. Yes, I know, MCU already has an MJ, played by Zendaya. However, Zendaya is Michelle Jones, not the better known Mary Jane Watson. We are also in a MCU era where variants are drawn from all over the multivers, so there may be several MJs in Spider-Man 4.
Deeper cuts from the Marvel series suggested for SINK include Firestar, a lesser-known Spidey hero and Harriet Osborn, the sexual version of Harry Osborn. Basically, all female characters with red hair that have ever appeared in a Marvel comedian on the table according to the fans. Spider-Man 4 is currently planned to be released between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, meets theaters 2026 and 2027, respectively, so it may take a while before we find out who exactly sinks will be.
