Re: Zero Season 3 Section 12: Little King, Big Fall

With Priscilla and Liliana who claim victory over Sirius, the Archbishop of Wrath, in the previous section of Re: zeroThe focus shifts back to Subaru. In the previous section's scene after credit, Subaru was still spinning regulus, the archbishop of greed, about his powers. Emilia was still nowhere to see, but the scene that ended with a shot of the church was a big clue.

IN Re: zero Season 3, section 10, “The Crusade Against Greed”, Subaru discovers what Regulus Correa's authority does. Baptized “Lion's Heart”, this ability allows Regulus to stop the time flow for his body, which makes him seem invincible. Learn how his powers work is great and everything, but does Subaru have a plan to get past it? Especially since Reinhard is still looking for when Regulus launched him soaring.

The previous section had some rather shaky animations in some parts, but fortunately section 12 again has the beautiful animation Re: zero Fans want. There was still a bunch of cut content from the light novels, including some cool action scenes of Subaru and a more detailed regular backstory, but the content as did Get Animated was made so really good.

Without his kingdom the king is nothing

Subaru thought Regulus, the little king, would have his weakness in his “little kingdom”, alias his harem of wives. So while Subaru fought and distracted Regulus, Emilia returned to the church where they would get married. The scene has not changed much, as Regulus '53 wives remain unleashed and await his return.

The scene for Emilia who convinced all wives to stand up for themselves and embrace freedom was extremely strengthening and hits you right in the emotions, which is what Re: zero Do the best. The scene that followed, with all the wives who finally admitted that they hated Regulus' bowels were also really satisfying to look at.

Emilia soon discovered that Regulus heart was in Silphy, and if something was to happen to her, it would simply move to another of his wives. The girls were all willing to end their lives just to weaken regular, but fortunately it didn't have to come to it. Emilia used her ice mum to freeze them all and prevent her hearts from beating. Now it was time to meet Regulus once again.

When he returned to the battlefield, Emilia Regulus attacked, just to see that he was still untouched by time. She already knew why, because she had a little mood to control her; Regulus heart had attached to her. Regulus mocks Emilia and Subaru and says that if they wanted to beat him, Emilia would have to die first. Regulus even boasts Subaru's performance of beating Petelgeuse, sin the Archbishop of Sloth, does not mean anything to his power. And that arrogance is exactly what led to his downfall. Subaru remembered that he now had Sloth's authority, the invisible hand he used to destroy Regulus heart within Emilia, which finally made him vulnerable.

The following scenes by Emilia that absolutely destroy Regulus were beautifully animated. Reinhard, who jumped back to the earth from the moon, because of course he continued to give Regulus beaten by his life and eventually launched him in heaven, probably as a refund. Regulus speech when he fell to earth was pathetic, and so his death was buried in a small hole on the ground and left to drown when water slowly poured. No one heard the last king of the little king, and just like when he was alive, no one cared.

How did the Subaru Regulus authority discover in the first place?

Some viewers may find it difficult to find out how exactly Subaru discovered that Regulus power was to stop the time for their body. Admittedly, it can be quite difficult to understand how he reached that conclusion at the first show. First, Subaru noticed that nothing could affect Regulus's body. Reinhard continued to beat him down, but he just continued to come back. But that's not everything. Regulus fell into the water, was hit by gigantic icebergs and was thrown into stone structures. Yet he was not only undamaged, but he remained dry and clean; Even his clothes were untreated.

There were still some opportunities at that time. Maybe Regulus could only generate a force field around the body, or maybe he could turn back time and continue to return to his untouched form. So to test his theory, Subaru Reinhard had to control a pulse, and after confirming Regulus, he did not have, he concluded that his body was frozen in time, and he could do the same for everything nearby, as his clothes.

Now for his weakness, how did Subaru count it? Well, I will regular 'nickname, “Little King”. As you have probably noticed, their archbishops are named after stars, and Regulus is named after the brightest star in Leo Constellation, whose name is Latin for “Little King”. Subaru thought that if he was a “king”, he must keep everything he valued most in his “kingdom”, which turned out to be his many wives.
