There are few characters as evil and self -serving as Micah Bell. Micah is a rat in the Dutch ear, a snake in the form of a man and a cowboy hat that turns people on each other just to protect their own sick skin. Still, for all Micah's fault, it is difficult to admit that there is a vintage of courage in him. After all, he helped to tip a dictator of Guarma, fight against hordes of Pinkertons and eradicate the gray from Rhodes with two revolver.
Sure, Micah is a rat, and a coward for how he betrayed the Van der Linde gang by giving Pinkerton's information, but he still managed to survive and survive most of them with his list and tricks. He is not the bravest, but he is really up there.

There is nothing agent Milton hate more than those who refuse to adapt to a society of laws, shortcomings and everything. Agent Milton spends his time chasing Dutch van der Linde and his gang, and his ruthless pursuit of different states has seen him encounter and confront these people who reveal wildlife several times. But during most of these times, Milton gives them a chance to turn to Dutch van der Linde and he will give the others a lead.
Agent Milton knows that he argues with forbidden and pursues career criminals who will not hesitate to shoot a man in the back. Yet he has not back and has even come face to face with the Dutch van der Linde and his best guns, Arthur Morgan, on several occasions without as much as a shaking.

John Marston is extremely resistant – or happy. He has survived a wolf attack, a prison and was shot by a fast train, and every time he returned to Van der Linde gang with his gross voice on trailers. John Marston may have been a legend of the West in 1911, but as early as 1899 he was still only the younger brother of Arthur Morgan who was arrogant and insubordinate – but he always spoke.
John is the only one of Van der Linde gangs who are brave enough to challenge Dutch with Arthur, and even when Pinkerton's fine -tunes on Beaver Hollow and John have a pistol wound on his arm, he struggles strongly with Arthur and never forgets his brother.

Charles Smith is perhaps the most honest of the Van der Linde gang, and he has a clear devotion to the rights and errors where he will even stand up for the animals that are unnecessarily slaughtered. Charles not only fights for himself, he has taken many lives in support of causes that are not his own, which proves how fearless he is when he is facing war.

Arthur Morgan easily holds strongly as the hard gunsman from Van der Linde gang, and while he can express doubt and dissatisfaction, he will always ride with Dutch with a gun in his hand. Whether it fights against warring gangs, fighting against lawmen and Pinkertons, or even starting a war against the US Army, Arthur Morgan will not back from a struggle if it means there is a chance to leave this life behind and save the gang – or whatever is left it.
Although Arthur expresses fear of dying, and the scared nature that comes with the unknown, Arthur still finds the courage not to back down, and when he is facing death he gives everything he has to fight just a little longer to make sure John Can do it, to make sure he can see his last sunrise.
