Bioware -founder was considering taking over EA.

It is only if MMO became “$ 2 billion a year successful”.

Instead, EA has a CEO who believes Dragon Age: Veilguard failed due to a lack of live service elements.
EA has a reputation for being an evil company's chief man in the video game industry. The company's hard line for revenue generation does not fit well with most of the gaming community. It did not help when CEO Andrew Wilson fixed the financial failure in Dragon Age: Veilguard on the lack of live service elements, even though fans and critics were very voiced about the actual problems with it.

It doesn't look good for the new Mass Effect
With none of its original writers and editors, is Bioware even Bioware?
We have all wondered how the company would have turned out if it was under different lines – maybe someone who actually knew about games and the development process instead of a bunch of suits. It seems that Biowares Star Wars: The Old Republic would have performed better, it may have been an opportunity for this.
Bioware -founder considered taking over EA 'from the inside'
Would EA have been a better company if run by the founders of Bioware? We can't definitely say it, but it seems like Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka was thinking about it. But in an interview with my perfect console (thank you, PC Gamer), Zeschuk revealed that if Star Wars: The Old Republic had performed better, they may have tried to take over EA.
“I lived in Austin for two and a half years and made Star Wars: The Old Republic [and] I knew it was a one -way trip, “Zeschuk said.” If it was super successful, Super Duper successful, Ray and I would probably have launched an attempt to try to take over EA from the inside and be the company's pirates that we are. But it had to be like $ 2 billion a year successfully. But it didn't work, so I was like, 'ah, I'm fine.' “
Of course, although Star Wars MMO managed to get that kind of success, it would take over a company that EA has not been as simple as Zeschuk sounds. Although it is quite fun, like a Star Wars fan, when you think of the creators of the old Republic that takes over a facility and maybe creates a new galatic empire.
Unfortunately, Bioware is nowhere close to the power plant as it was once below the mass effect and the age of the dragon. To add Dragon Age: The Veilguard's disappointing performance, the developer has dismissed almost half of its staff in two years, including both directors and each individual writer.
