Death Note Killer within's among us-like gameplay can be a match in heaven

Bandai Namco's social deduction game, Death Note Killer Within, presents on November 5, presents several promising aspects for fans of the genre.

The biggest challenge was the creation of a skin

PC version of Among us 3D will contain a heads-up display (skin) that players can see all the time while they are in the game. Skin will show key information as the player's name, their status as a crewmate or impostor, the list of information that must be completed in order for herds to win the round and news about the latest body discoveries and emergency meetings. Skin will also contain a minicart, which makes players more easily navigate around the spaceship, planet or other environment where they play. Ryan Hall explained the team's reasoning behind adding a skin to Among us 3D

“It's the kind of heads-up screen you might expect in a first person PC game. It doesn't work in VR, but PC needs it.”

When Schell -Games first worked with Among us VR, that was launched in 2022, they originally considered adding a skin as it 3D will present. Hall and curtains, however, ultimately determined that such a screen would be “disoriented” for players and not favorable for the often movement that usually comes with playing games in VR. To “avoid discomfort” the idea was scrapped, but it was reintroduced for Among us 3D To better match the standard design elements in a first person PC game.
