Cocoon Anime Staff & Cast
Cocoon Manga is based on a true story from the Second World War. Anime is directed by Ina Yukimitsu in Studio Sasayuri. Hitomi Tateno is the animation producer and Kensuke Ushio composes the music for anime. The information about the role has been limited. So far, Hikari Matsushima (one piece) has been confirmed to play Mayu, while Marika Ito Voices San. Further role members are likely to be revealed in the coming days.
Cocoon is based on manganese with the same name written by Machiko Kyō. Mangaen began serialization in the Akita Shotens Elegance Eve Magazine, which handles Josei Manga. Cocoon released its first chapter on March 26, 2009 and it ended in May 2010. Mangas chapter has been compiled into a single volume.

The story highlights the effects of war
Cocoon is set during the closing months of the Pacific. The story focuses on San and Mayu, two schoolgirls living in Okinawa. The girls are unexpectedly developed to help wounded soldiers. As nurses involved in the war, San and Mayu are subjected to incredible horror. When the remaining members of San and Mayus group are ordered to die for their country, they decide to flee. But they end up on a tropical island taken over by war.
The story of anime is unique, and it will undoubtedly make an excellent clock. The action is layered, and the fans will talk about it for a long time. Anime visuals also look pretty amazing, and the influence of the Ghibli staff workers is quite clear. Overall, cocoon is something fans should look when released.
