Reddit user Wardelyobesrat's Tool Card concept is called fresh pair of poketimbs. When equipped, the card would prevent the chalk from receiving damage from Pokemon TCG Short ability, but not from regular attacks. According to them, this card may be an option for players to counteract the game's current meta that revolves around capable chip damage.
With the release of their second set, Pokemon TCG introduced over 200 new cards. Darkrai Ex and Magnezone are two cards from this extension that has stolen the limelight together with Druddigon, which belongs to the mythical island of Miniset. Together they are currently forming one of the strongest tires in Pokemon TCG. This is due to Darkrai ex and Druddigon's consistent damage through their abilities. The duo becomes even more fatal when it is in pairs with the firepower in Magnezone.
The concept of tool card has been in Pokemon TCG Since 2000 when the first cards of this type were introduced to the Neo Genesis expansion. But the idea is still new in Pokemon TCGAfter being recently introduced with the release of Space-Time Smackdown expansion. As such, players await future updates in the hope of additional tool cards that can shake up the game's constantly evolving meta.
