Sony Interactive Entertainment Have announced that it will fully take up SN systems. The company has created software development tools for each individual Playstation console and will finally be folded into Sony Interactive Entertainment in the coming months.
Founded in 1990 and is a British -based software development company that has worked with platform holders such as Sega, Nintendo, Playstation. Sony acquired the SN system in 2005, after which the latter contributed their efforts only to Playstation -Hardware, such as PS3, PS4 and PS5. In addition to Sony's Bread-and-Mörhemskonsuls, SN-System borrowed a hand to the development of the very successful PSP and the poor Playstation Vita Handheld system, as well as PS VR and VR2 headsets.

FROMSoftware parent company Kadokawa reveals that its future gaming projects will be financed and published in collaboration with Sony.
Ever since SN Systems was acquired by Sony, the company has served as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. But this two decades of events will finally change in the coming months, as SN -Systems will be fully absorbed by Sony Interactive Entertainment as of April 1, 2025. Instead of being a Sony daughter company, the SN system will be included in the SIE structure to form a uniform company as “next development” in their partnership. According to the recently established SIE CEO Hideaki Nishino, integration of SN systems will strengthen their “shared sense of unit”, and both parties are pleased to give developers to continue to create compelling gaming experiences for Playstation users.
