Kalos is too large to be reduced to a city
Based on the real France, the Kalos region is worthy of some of the most beautiful places in Pokemon Series, all inspired by the natural, architectural and historical variation in one of Europe's most visited places. Lumiose City is home to the iconic Price Men Tower, which is likely to play a central role in Legends: ZABut the memorable places do not stay there, and the game should not either. The mysterious beauty of Anistar City Sundial and its link to Mega Evolution would be a wonder to see in an updated art style. Parfum Palace has too much historical significance for not being part of the game's story. If the game remains locked in lumiose, it would give up the chances of improving parts of the game and the story that would better serve from the larger region.
Focusing on the rebuilding of the region's larger city would be reasonable for most of the game to occur there, but some areas of the region must at least be referred to in Legends: ZA To create thematic device between the games. It may happen that some of the development efforts focus on bringing the larger Kalos region to Lumiose City. To its credit, the game ensures that there is much to do in every corner of the city by packing it with memorable places. Some fans would say that the returning landmarks in Lumiose City are big enough to carry the game by themselves. Places like Loker Bureau and Stone Emporium can offer enough potential for unique assignments and stories. With everything the city has to offer, some may claim to include external places, ironically, the game to feel less when returning to Navstaden.
A major region was the key to Legend's success: Arceus
Because it Pokemon Legends Games are a whole new subset of Pokemon Games, it's still not clear to the fans, or maybe even developers, what works best for this type of experience. But what they can make sure is what worked well in Legends: Arceus. One of the best parts of that game was to explore a familiar region and find hidden places in Hisui. If Pokemon Legends: ZA Losing the region around Lumiose City, it risks eliminating an important part of the last game's success.
