Many Wii U games have been ported to Nintendo Switch, but some remarkable titles are still missing.
-
While titles like Star Fox Zero are absent due to gamepad functionality, other games, such as Wind Waker HD, seem to be missing for no reason.
Wii U is one of the major tragedies in video game history. It was such an ambitious idea with a fantastic gaming library, but unfortunately it became Nintendo's worst home console. Thankfully, Switch was a kind of chance for Wii U, which went over many of its titles for newcomers to play.

The best Nintendo Switch games of all time
Nintendo Switch has dominated since its launch in 2017, and now we have a large selection of fantastic games to take on the go.
Almost every major Wii U game is available at Nintendo Switch as an improved edition or a straight port. However, there are no remarkable, some for a good reason and some seemingly no reason at all. The following titles are in particular nowhere to see.

E for everyone
Star Fox Zero tries to regain the magic from Star Fox 64 while introducing some bold new gaming mechanics. The largest contribution is the gamepad functionality, which acts as a first person for more accurate sight. While the controls have a steep learning curve, the game is surprisingly fun when you get it.
Unfortunately, the Gamepad mechanic is what prevents it from changing. The game would need to be completely reworked, which is unlikely given the game's low sales number. Unfortunately, Star Fox fans. This one won't leave Wii U anytime soon.

Yoshis Woolly World is a often overlooked 2D platform player made by the studio behind Kirby's epic yarn. Located in a world made of arts and crafts, the story follows a brave little yarn Yoshi on an adventure to save his friends from Baby Bowser.
Everything from the adorable art style to the well -hidden secrets perfectly captures what made the series famous in the first place. While it was transferred to 3DS 2017, there are still no signs of it on Switch. Hopefully this charming adventure will return sometime in the future.

Nintendo Land was designed to show off what Gamepad could do, and the result is one of the best multiplayer Wii U games. You and up to four friends explore an amusement park filled with fun attractions, including Metroid theme Laser brand and a Luigi mansion Haunted House.

The best games with a player at Nintendo Switch
Every game you need to take with you on your next solo holiday.
Tragically, Nintendo country's greatest strength is also what keeps it stuck on Wii U. The game would simply not work without gamepad, so a switching is excluded. It's a shame, considering how fun it is to play with friends.

Paper Mario: Color Splash
The plumber's most colorful RPG

E for all because of mild cartoon
Paper Mario: Color Splash was not the return to the series' roots fans had hoped for, but it is still a fun RPG worth playing at least once. This time, the famous plumber must travel across Prism Island to prevent Bowser from emptying it of color.
While the game is a little more linear than you might expect, the funny dialogue, the wonderful pictures and excellent soundtrack should keep you entertained from start to finish. Just be prepared to dust off your old Wii U if you want to play it.

Pushmo world
An underestimated puzzle game
Pushmo World is one of the most underrated Nintendo games ever. This charming puzzle plays a cat called Mallo, who has to climb up to the top of different towers by pressing and pulling blocks to create a path to the ceiling.
Of all the games caught on Wii U, this is undoubtedly the most deserving of a port. It was one of the many digital exclusive titles that disappeared in thin air when Wii U Eshop closed. Unfortunately, neither it nor its sequel did it to change.

Kirby and the Curse of Rainbow

A sequel to Kirby: Canvas Curse was probably the last that the Wii U owners expected, but Nintendo surprised long fans with Kirby and Rainbow Curse 2015. The game means drawing lines on Gamepad to guide the pink puff ball through each level. You can even grab up to three friends for local co-op.

The best free Nintendo Switch games you can play today
Nintendo Switch is home for fantastic games like Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, but there are some amazing free to play titles.
There is much to be loved about the curse of the rainbow, especially its wonderful clay -inspired art style, which would have looked even better on the switch. Unfortunately, the game's emphasis on touch checks is probably what prevents it from portraying.

E10+ for all 10+ because of animated blood, mild cartoon violence, mild language
Tired of Mario Kart? Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is an excellent alternative. Come behind the wheel as your favorite tough character and speed through iconic levels from games like Sonic Heroes and Super Monkey Ball. The catch? Your car can be transformed into a boat or plan, depending on the environment.
Overall, it is a solid racer with a diverse character list, a fantastic multiplayer mode and lots of innovative ideas. It is unclear why it never came to change, especially since it was transferred to many other platforms, including Windows and 3DS.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker & Twilight Princess HD
Why aren't these here yet?
These two are the most puzzling omissions from Switch's Library. Zelda fans have asked for gates of Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD forever, and it's easy to see why. Both remasants are considered the definitive way to play each game.
Wind Waker HD's updated graphics is absolutely fantastic, and Swift Sail makes the exploration route more fun. At the same time, Twilight Princess HD adds a bunch of requested game adjustments, including a streamlined version of Tears of Light Side assignments. Unfortunately, you have to dig out Wii U to go through these excellent remasters.
