The Prince of All Saiyans and one of the greatest anime characters of all time, Vegeta has been on something of a hot streak throughout Dragon Ball Super. Ever since then Resurrection FVegeta has finally caught up to Goku and rivaled him 1:1 in terms of power level. From Dragon Ball Super: Super HeroVegeta has even defeated Kakarot in a fair, one on one fight, crowning himself the strongest Saiyan in Dragon Ball.
When Dragon Ball Super manga is finally coming back, Vegeta will be second only to Gohan Beast in the Z-Fighter hierarchy. Thanks to a lifetime of training, Vegeta has amassed as many rivals as Goku and only gets stronger with each saga. Unlocking Ultra Ego was the best thing that ever happened to Vegeta, giving him a god-like power that takes him one step closer to finally reaching Beerus and achieving his long-held goal of becoming the most powerful being in the universe.

Dragon Ball: 8 Strongest Versions of Vegeta in the Multiverse, Ranked
No matter the timeline or the universe, Vegeta will always find a way to prove that he is one of the most powerful warriors in the Dragon Ball multiverse.

Toppo and Vegeta are both about to become their universe's God of Destruction
Vegeta and Toppo are much closer in Power Level than meets the eye. Although Super Saiyan Blue Evolved Vegeta defeats Toppo in their Tournament of Power, it is important to remember that they fought in a tournament environment where neither could fight with killing intent. In a real life or death duel where both fighters were able to utilize their full destructive powers, things might have ended very differently for Vegeta.
Toppo is the God of Destruction candidate for Universe 11, and was personally trained by Belmod much like how Vegeta is currently personally trained by Beerus. Toppo is one of the few characters that can use Hakai, and his Destroyer Form has a lot in common with Ultra Ego. If Jiren is Universe 11's mirror for Goku, Toppo is Universe 11's mirror for Vegeta.

Gas gave Vegeta one of his greatest fights ever
After Granolah uses the Cerealian Dragon Balls to become the strongest warrior in Universe 7, Elec gets the idea to use the same Dragon Balls to make his brother, Gas, the strongest fighter instead. Instead of trading Gas's instant life force for raw power, Elec's wish instead causes Gas to age to reach his body's potential maximum power level whenever someone surpasses him to remain the strongest person in the universe.
This comes back to bite Vegeta when he unlocks Ultra Ego and briefly surpasses Gas. However, to Vegeta's credit, the raw power and nature of Ultra Ego allows him to deal a crushing blow to Gas. The fact that Vegeta can keep up with the “strongest in the universe” at all is extremely impressive, and he only loses because Ultra Ego stuns him into pain, so he runs out of all his Ki. Gas is no longer alive to rival Vegeta, but if he were to ever return, he would be the perfect sparring partner to master Ultra Ego against.

Dragon Ball Super: 6 God-Tier Forms With the Potential to Beat Black Frieza
The Z-Fighters now have incredible transformations that have the potential to grow even stronger by the Black Frieza Saga, killing Frieza for good.

Orange Piccolo is in the same league of power as Ultra Ego Vegeta
Piccolo is stronger than ever after Shenron gave him a small bonus in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Akira Toriyama stated that the goal behind Orange Piccolo was to give him a transformation that would allow him to finally compete with Goku and Vegeta again after years of lagging behind. Toyotarou has also confirmed that Ultra Instinct Goku, Ultra Ego Vegeta, Gohan Beast, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, and Orange Piccolo are all at the same power level.
Piccolo and Vegeta have never actually fought, not even in Dragon Ball Superbut just the fact that Orange Piccolo was able to keep up with Cell Max means he's incredibly powerful. Piccolo even doubted whether Goku or Vegeta could beat Cell Max, implying that Orange Piccolo is much closer to Vegeta's power level than most Dragon Ball fans would assume. In typical Dragon Ball mode, the Saiyan will always be one step ahead of the competition, but for now, Vegeta has a true rival in Piccolo.

Gohan Beast finally fights Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103
Vegeta has always had a lot of respect for Gohan's power and potential. At the end of Dragon Ball ZGohan completely outclassed Vegeta, but the Prince of All Saiyans closed the gap Dragon Ball Super and left Gohan in the dust. Until Dragon Ball Super: Super Herothat is. Now that Gohan has unlocked his Beast form, he is once again the strongest Z fighter. That said, Vegeta isn't far behind.
IN Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, Gohan Beast and Vegeta spar after Gohan's fight with Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku and Super Saiyan Broly. Notably, Vegeta does not use Ultra Ego to fight Gohan Beast. Instead, he sticks to Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, which he presumably uses in the Saiyan Battle Royale that immediately follows. The fact that Super Saiyan Blue Evolved Vegeta can keep up with Gohan Beast at all is beyond impressive and speaks to how powerful Vegeta truly is.

Broly has the potential to completely surpass Vegeta
Broly is one of the most overpowered characters in the Dragon Ball history, even for a saiyan. Base Broly was strong enough to force Vegeta to use Super Saiyan God. Once Broly unlocked his own Super Saiyan form, Vegeta had no choice but to use Super Saiyan Blue and still fought Broly despite him and Goku working together.
When Broly unlocked Legendary Super Saiyan, it was basically over for Vegeta, and he had to use Fusion Dance just to keep up. Broly can't access his full power at the moment, so he and Vegeta are about the same level when Vegeta uses Ultra Ego. However, once Broly masters reversing the LSSJ, Broly will graduate from being Vegeta's rival to his better.

Goku will always be Vegeta's biggest rival
Goku will always be Vegeta's biggest motivator and his main rival. Dragon Ball Super has made a point of portraying Goku and Vegeta as almost exactly equal in terms of power level. Vegeta barely knocks Goku in Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroand not even by brute force – Vegeta just had one small more stamina than Goku did. When it comes down to it, Goku and Vegeta are 1:1.
Goku and Vegeta are currently walking different paths to power. While Goku focuses on the angelic skills of Ultra Instinct, Vegeta masters destructive power. But at the same time, Vegeta manages to catch up with Goku when his rival surpasses him and masters a new form of Ultra Instinct. At the moment, Vegeta is the better of the two fighters, but it's only a matter of time before Goku turns things on Vegeta's head like he so often does.

From the original Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super, Goku's superstitions and miscalculations have resulted in him being outwitted by his enemies.

Black Frieza is Vegeta's worst nightmare
Out of each character in Dragon BallVegeta has the deepest relationship and connection with Frieza. The two have known each other for decades, and Vegeta was essentially Frieza's slave for most of his life. Frieza coming back as Black Frieza in Granolah the Survivor Saga and effortlessly defeating Ultra Ego Vegeta is nothing short of a nightmare come true for the Prince of All Saiyans.
As revealed in Dragon Ball Super manga, Vegeta has taken Black Frieza's awakening as his main motivation to keep getting stronger. Vegeta has never beaten Frieza before (although he came close Resurrection F), so it would make sense for him to finally get his shot at the end of the Black Frieza Saga. Of course, Vegeta will have to become much stronger, but if Dragon Ball Super has proven one thing, that is nothing can keep Vegeta down for long.

Vegeta is closer than ever to catching up with Beerus
Vegeta never stood a chance against Beerus in the beginning Dragon Ball Superbut to his credit, he made the God of Destruction bleed in Super Saiyan 2 while Super Saiyan 3 Goku failed to land a single hit. Years later in Granolah the Survivor Saga, Vegeta has grown so much that Beerus presents him with an earring for the God of Destruction as a sign of their bond.
After unlocking Ultra Ego, Vegeta is the closest he's ever been to reaching Beerus' power level. He still has to get past Black Frieza before he so much as thinks about fighting Beerus again, but there is no version of Dragon Ball Super it doesn't end with Vegeta (and Goku) getting a second shot at Beerus and proving they've finally matched the god of destruction's overwhelming power.
