The shonen demographic usually targets younger male audiences. Because of this, many shonen anime series often struggle to present interesting female heroines. Since the main focus is on the male characters, most female heroines don't get enough attention to make them compelling characters. That said, some anime still managed to shine with their female cast in the shonen demographic. These shonen anime heroines have stood out and become fan favorites in the anime industry, definitely setting a baseline for future heroines.

Namie
One Piece have experienced criticism when it comes to their female cast, particularly due to their design. But when it comes to writing, not many shonen heroines can compete with Nami, the first female member of Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates and one of the first characters to accompany him on his adventures to claim One Piece.
Nami isn't exactly a fighter, and she isn't the strongest of the crew. But her background under Arlong Park is what has got viewers hooked on the story. Nami still ends up in some battles. Her most iconic fight remains against Kalifa, but more than that, the character moments that Eiichiro Oda has written for her are absolutely spectacular. Fans hope to see her even more entangled in the plot of the Final Saga.
