With Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc The anime is now finished, all eyes are on the near future of the whole Chainsaw man franchise. The Reze Arc had some strong characters and cool twists, but anime movie fans will see a lot more than that in what follows. Next up is the International Assassins Arc, which remains arguably one of the finest story arcs of all Chainsaw mancounts both manga and anime.

This includes the fresh arrival of brand new characters to add Chainsaw mans list, which counts heroes, villains and third parties. After all Chainsaw man franchise has a habit of killing off or writing out tons of people, so with the likes of Akane, Himeno, and Reze himself dead and gone (temporarily in Reze's case), it's about time the franchise got some fresh faces. Many of the new cast will help turn Denji's world upside down on the city, plunging him, Power and Aki into an abyss of horror and carnage.

Santa Claus will dominate the story with his many devil contracts

Already, Chainsaw man fans have seen characters strike deals with some of the most powerful devils to give themselves new weapons to work with. Aki Hayakawa is bound to the Fox and Future Devils, and until her death, Himeno was able to wield the power of the Ghost Devil. All of this will pale in comparison to the mysterious character Santa Claus, who will dominate the upcoming anime arc as a dealer of truly powerful devils.

When this character first appears, Santa is already contracted with the Puppet Devil, which is much stronger than it sounds, and contracts with the Hell and Dark Devils will follow. If Chainsaw man fans thought they'd already seen nightmare fuel from Zombie Devil or Ghost Devil, they should steel themselves for the unspeakable abomination Santa will become with the help of her many devil contracts. It will take all of Denji's practical creativity to overcome such odds.

Hirofumi Yoshida's presence will become a reality for Denji

Later, after the time jump occurs Chainsaw mans manga, the character known as Hirofumi Yoshida will be more prominent than ever when Asa Mitaka takes the stage. Until then, anime fans can look forward to Hirofumi's debut in the International Assassins Arc when Chainsaw man anime returns. Hirofumi is one of the relatively good guys, which is a nice change of pace.

Hirofumi is no slouch as a devil hunter, being one of the best at what he does while possessing some remarkable skills as a bodyguard. Denji will definitely need help from such people when the international assassins and various devils rampage over Denji. On a personal note, anime fans may love Hirofumi's patent blend of silliness and total recklessness.

Although Tolka will be a rather minor antagonist in the upcoming anime arc too Chainsaw manfans mustn't take him too lightly. He will be brought into the picture as a henchman and helper to Santa Claus, marking a shift in how the villains in Chainsaw man work. Until now, many of the antagonists have fought alone, such as Bat Devil or Eternity Devil, but Reze helped start another trend that Tolka will support. Starting now, many Chainsaw man antagonists will have their own minions.

Tolka will play that role in the upcoming International Assassins Arc as a devil hunter from the Soviet Union who is both a cold-blooded killer and quite caring. He does not think about taking the lives of animals or people, while he loves Santa Claus and hopes that she can retire in peace. Many character designs can be distracting or disorienting Chainsaw man viewers, and Tolkas is one of them.

Kusakabe takes his duty to Denji seriously

Chainsaw man fans have already seen Aki Hayakawa try, mostly in vain, to keep a lid on Denji and Power's antics as the stern of Denji's wacky character. Next, new character Kusakabe will take it upon himself to deal with Denji's whimsical antics, and it may even remind fans of Yamato from Naruto anime. Kusakabe is a capable and strict new teammate who disapproves of the protagonist's erratic fighting style.

This is going to be a total clash of order and respect versus chaos and crazy behavior Chainsaw manwhich manga readers have already seen, and anime fans will have fun with it. Like Hirofumi, Kusakabe is tasked with keeping Denji safe when the villains show up, and he would sacrifice anything for that duty, even if Denji would never thank him for it.

The Hell Devil is the cause of the collapse of the courage of power

Denji might think he's already seen some of the nastiest devils the world has to offer, but he'd be terribly wrong to believe such a thing. The devils in Chainsaw man only getting stronger and scarier as the story progresses, with the Hell Devil himself set to appear in the anime soon. Funnily enough, such an important sounding devil only has a supporting role in the upcoming story arc.

However, there is no reason to underestimate the Hell Devil. At Santa's request, the Hell Devil will send Denji and the rest to Hell itself, a bizarre realm that will shatter everyone's confidence, most of all Power's own. The Hell Devil has little to fear from Denji or Power, either as a giant hand or in his centaur-like form, but Denji and Power will be very afraid at that time.

Quanxi rivals Kishibe as an elite fighter in Chainsaw Man

Quanxi has a harem to back her up

In contrast to anime berserkers like Denji and Power, newcomer Quanxi is cool and calculating as an assassin. She is a fearsome woman from China who usually travels with her four female friends, who form an odd sort of harem with Quanxi. They have a dark bond of friendship and love, although Quanxi is hardly the type to blush like a shy maiden.

Quanxi will spend much of the International Assassins Arc as a stone-cold killer with a mission in mind, and Denji must watch out. Quanxi is in the same league as Kishibe, which is saying a lot, and having those devils around gives Quanxi even more tactical flexibility than Kishibe can muster. Fortunately, as manga readers know, Quanxi isn't just a villain—she's a rogue third party just doing her thing.

The Darkness Devil is one of the first primal fears ever seen

Chainsaw man manga readers have encountered a number of Primal Fears in the devil world, and few are as chilling as the Darkness Devil. This is a whole new class of devil, a nightmarish creature beyond anything Denji, Power, or even Quanxi can handle. The Darkness Devil does not even speak, but its presence is overwhelming, and it is open to discovery if certain parties are brave enough to ask.

Regardless of its titanic power and indestructible nature, the Darkness Devil won't put up much of a fight, and Denji won't have to fight it to death. Instead, it's up to Denji and Power to navigate the horrors of Hell while Darkness Devil makes his bargain with Santa, making Darkness Devil by far the most dangerous supporting character. Plus, anime fans will simply love this devil's evil design.
