Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D Remake players may encounter a musician named The hall early in their adventure, and you can continue to meet him in several locations to eventually earn Erdrick's Helm and also get the “A new song by Erdrick' trophy/achievement.

You must also reach the end of this quest line to earn one of the 40 mini medals. More precisely, you will come to a place called west island.
Zalen Questline Guide for Dragon Quest 1 H-2D Remake (A New Song of Erdrick)
Forgotten ruins
The first place where you will meet Zalen is in the Forgotten Ruinswhich is a landmark south of the Shrine of Rain and east (across the water) of the Wayfarer's Chapel. It's in the north center of the map, so you can access it during the early hours of the story. When you arrive, you'll see an exclamation point over Zalen's head, ready to chat with you.
Nameless ruins
The next place to find Zalen is in the nameless ruins. These are on the west side of the map, just southwest of Craggy Cave and south of the Roadside Inn.
Damdara
For the next location, travel to Damdara in the southwest. It's over the mountain and southwest of the Faerie Village and north of the Medal Monarch's citadel.
Cantlin
Cantlin is the next place where Zalen will appear. It's in the southeast quadrant of the map (east of the Wayfarer's Inn and northwest of the Shrine of the Spirit). You can find Zalen standing on a bridge near the ponds in the middle of town.
Galenholm
Galenholm is the next destination for the Zalen questline (it's in the northwest corner of the map). The hall will be hanging by the beach once you are there. After you talk to him, the next place you need to visit is…
Field of flowers
Field of flowers is in the southwest quadrant of the map, not far from the Mini Medal Monarch. Once you get there you will have a conversation with the Overseer.
Rain Shrine
From Flowers Field you can use Zoom to get to Rain Shrine in the north to speak with the Dream-Whisperer. She takes you to a new place called west islandwhich is an island west of Tantegel where Edrick first set foot in Alefgard.

Go to the left side of the area to examine the grave to find Erdrick the helm. When you're ready to go, talk to the Dream Whisperer.
Rhymes
And for the final step to finish Zalen's quest line to get 'A new song of Erdrick's trophywe must visit Rhymes. It's on the east side of the map, north of the Dwarven Cave.
If you talk to Zalen (he'll be near some benches near some water), the questline will end, and you'll get to see the final scene of his arc.
