There have been several leaks and rumors of Pokemon Legends: ZA In recent months, from the game's story and attitude to its Battle-Royale format of the ZA tournament that Critters is included in the game and which is not. One of the largest leaks is about the new mega development in Pokemon Legends: ZALike the return, with the original statement that the game would add 27 Megas, down to 26 due to Zerara's alleged mega development. 26 new mega developments are nothing to deceive, considering how many were in Gen 6 games, but four of them are already over the rest.
Pokemon presents directly planned for July 2025 will probably confirm or debate the leaks, but they seem quite credible given the number of sources that vouches for their trueness. In addition, data tams of Pokemonhem and subsequent rumors seem to confirm that Pokemon Legends: ZA Will get back most mega developments, with the exception of Latios, Latias and Rayquaza. A large part of the appeal of mega development is how critters change, aesthetically, while for battles their types and movements are the most important aspect. But as it says, only four Megas will get a new type combination.

Pokemon Legends: ZA LEAK reveals a complete list of new mega developments
A leak reveals all new mega developments that players will find in Pokemon Legends: ZA, and they share their thoughts on the claim.
Pokemon Legends: ZA already has four favorite children with Mega Evolution
With the fact that apparently Pokemon Legends: ZA will not include new Pokemon species, nor regional forms or cross-gene developments, the new mega development need to deliver and go beyond expectations. However, a disappointing detail is that only four of them seem to have a new type or type combination compared to their regular counterparts. This applies to Clefable, Meganium, Feraligatr and Barbaracle, all of which get a secondary type or change one of their previous ones. The types are as follows:
-
Kleferable – elf/flight
-
Meganium – grass/moose
-
Feraligatr – water/dragon
-
Barbaracles – Rock/Fighting
Normally, splitable is a pure river type, meganium is a clean grass, Feraligatr is a pure water type and barbarcke is stone/water. Three new secondary types and a combination of one type is exciting, as Pokemon Legends: ZAFocus on battles will make them all more relevant, but it is undoubtedly a missed opportunity to shake things even more. The remaining megers are:
-
Weight load
-
Stammie
-
Draconite
-
Skarmes
-
Frozen
-
Mare
-
Dress
-
Folka
-
Silly
-
Eelectross
-
Chandelier
-
Chesnaught
-
Delphox
-
Greninja
-
Kyroar
-
Malamar
-
Dragon
-
Hawlucha
-
Floett
-
Zygarde
-
Drama
-
Falrs
The current list includes lots of requested mega developments in Pokemon Legends: ZAAs one for Chandelure, all three Gen 6 starters, Dragonite and the game's own starting trio. Although their types end up remaining the same, it will be a big sales site for the game, especially to see how beloved Battle Gimmick is. Compared to the 10 typing supplements or changes from the existing 48 mega development in Pokemon Games, only four out of 26 are a little low for a game that mainly revolves around this mechanic.
Mega Aggron was the only Pokémon that lost a type of mega that developed, went from steel/rock to only steel, and Mega Altaria is the only dragon/Fairy Pokémon in the series so far.
Why Pokemon Legends: ZA players are more likely to use four mega developments over others
The following is that if the leaks are true, many players will inevitably be forced against Clefable, Meganium, Feraligatr and Barbaracle more than other mega developments just to try something new. On top of, some mega Evolution's design in Pokemon Legends: ZA will not be extremely innovative from the bases. The leaks mention that Starmie has two longer limbs as if they were legs, and the rest of the design is, for example, identical to the original critic. It remains to be seen which Pokémon will become more popular when the game comes out, but these four Megas seem to get a little more love than others.
