Fallout 76 have had a good series of events lately. A Halloween mini-season provided some morgue-themed rewards to hunt down while populating Appalachia with Spooky Scorched, and it ran alongside a free Fallout 1 trial that showed how valuable Fallout 76s Scrapbox can be. After a few days off, Fallout 76 has started an event that longtime players may be familiar with: Treasure Hunt. This event hasn't added new items to the pool in its recent appearances, and this latest round is no different, but it has such a wide variety of unlocks that newer players and veterans who don't already have all the items shouldn't miss out on playing this week.
Fallout 76s latest treasure hunt will run from November 6th to November 10th, and for those who haven't taken part in it, it's pretty simple. Players will find Treasure Hunter Mole Miners all over Appalachia, as they don't just spawn in typical Mole Miner locations. As long as players aren't fighting a group of enemies that are bound to a mission and are out in the open world as opposed to an interior location, they will encounter Treasure Hunters quite often. Whenever one of these legendary mole miners is killed, players will want to check the buckets they drop for loot, as they will be filled with special plans and other items worth collecting. The bucket comes in three variants – Dusty, regular and Ornate – with each level increasing players' chances of getting rare drops.
Players can also create Mole Miner Pails by purchasing empty Pails from vendors and crafting their own loot-filled Pail at a Tinker's Workbench.

Fallout 76's Treasure Hunt Event is a boon to newer players
If you recently started Fallout 76 for the first time, or come back after hearing how much it's improved (or because of the hype around Fall-outs TV series), this event is truly a must. I am someone who came back to Fallout 76 after over half a decade away from the game, as I dropped it shortly after launch due to the state of the game at the time. This makes me the perfect target audience for the latest event, as all of the droppable items are items that I still need. There are some really cool plans in particular I'm hoping to get, though.
I recently started building camp in Fallout 76and while it didn't take me long to max out the budget for my log cabin, I still have a whole shelter to design. Of course, those will be decorations I want the most, so I'd be happy to see the cute Snallygaster, Wanamingo, and Scorchbeast Queen Plushies drop. As someone who loves to fish in Fallout 76 and want to create a fishing camp at some point, the TV aquarium is another must. The Neon Light Diner Clock and the Grafton Monster lamp would also be fun to get. Clothing wise, I'm desperate for the Pink Sprinkles Power Armor Paint, Missile Launcher Atom Cats Paint and the animal themed backpacks. Even if I only get a few of these items, I'll be thrilled, and I'll be looking forward to the next appearance of the greedy Mole Miners to get the rest of the items.
For dedicated players who have all the loot in this event, it's still a decent way to farm Legendary Scrip and Caps as they can drop from Mole Miner and Ornate Pails (Dusty doesn't have these drops). While the treasure hunt will resume on December 4th for those willing to wait for the TV show and Burning Springs hype to peak, participating in one event now and another in December gives players a much better chance of getting all the potential drops.
