Yakuza Dev asks you to sit on Majima's lap this Christmas

Summary

  • RGG tells Yakuza fans to sit on Majima's lap this Christmas, and they're reacting just as you'd expect…

  • A lot of barking. Lots and lots of barking.

RGG Studios knows exactly what the people want.

It just told Yakuza fans on Twitter, “Come sit on Majima's lap to tell him what you want for Maji-mas”. If you've ever met a Majima fan (I work with one, trust me), you'll know how wild they go for this one-eyed washboard with a knife.

Cue The Thirsting

If you don't ask for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, “he might throw you overboard,” but you know what, that's fine. “I mean he can throw me overboard regardless,” replied @quelseydilla.

Others are not as upset about asking him for anything. They're here for his knee, and maybe a little extra. “Oh, I'll do more than just sit on it,” @awkeshyu added.

BARK BAKR BAKERY PIPES — majimaculo

“I just wanted to sit on Majima's lap, thank you so much,” @Cogachez said. Nice to have different perspectives, right?

All I want for Maji-mas is you (Santa Majima)

Let's move away from the… thirsty fans. If you want to celebrate Maji-mas in style, download Yakuza 0 and grab the Santa Majima mod.

Family

Sega will give your pirate Majima a Kiryu outfit for signing up to its newsletter

Sign up for Sega's emails and there will be some familiar threads waiting for you as you embark on your next Yakuza adventure.

Developed by modder Hex back in 2021, it adds his costume from Yakuza 5, allowing you to play through the entire game and all its emotional story beats while dressed as a cheap mall gnome.

It pairs really well with this other mod from SamuraiOndo, which puts Kiryu in an elf costume to match. It even adds snow to the game, giving it a nice and festive Maji-ma overhaul.
