Wolfenstein and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle developer Machine tracks has been teasing their next project. The move, which arrived as part of a message that remembers the company's last anniversary, triggered widespread speculation from Machinegames fans.
With headquarters in Uppsala, Sweden, Machinegames has released over half a dozen titles since its humble beginning 2009, when it was founded by seven former employees in Starbreeze Studios before being acquired by (Nu-Microsoft-owned) Zenimax Media a year later. Machinegames teases the next match in 15th anniversary poster
On October 10, Machinegames celebrated his first 15 years on Zenimax Media with a poster with cover of five of its previous titles, including Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The design also contains a sixth place, which is a placeholder, adorned with a curious question mark. Separately, Machinegame's leading proprietary artist Pontus Wåhlin expressed tension over the studio's “upcoming project”, Plural, which indicates that the company has more than one title at present in works.
Another AAA Indiana Jones game can happen – infinitely
The social media's teases triggered hundreds of comments from fans that speculated on which Machinegame's next project may be. The most realistic theories moved by social media users include a new Wolfenstein Title and another Indy game. Microsoft Gaming Ceo Phil Spencer suggested for the possibility of a Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Sequel back in April 2025 and said that the game's success proved that the long -term franchise still has “life left.” Although another Indiana Jones Games may just be a matter of time, it is not necessarily the most likely candidate for Machinegame's next project.
In early September 2025 Documentary by Youtuber Noclip, Machinegames Boss Jerk Gustafsson suggested on a third Wolfenstein The game is on the cards. Apart from saying that the Swedish studio has always represented his revival series as a trilogy, he immediately stated that the company is “not done” with the franchise yet. The comments echo those who are now retired Bethesda Vp Pete Hines, who in 2018 said that Wolfenstein 3 Was “absolutely” hands, but found that the machines simply “took a break” at that time.
The probability of Wolfenstein 3 is finally the next article on the studio's agenda seems stronger in light of the recently announced live action Wolfenstein Series, currently under development at Amazon MGM Studios. Zenimax experience with the Amazon -produced Fall-out TV adaptation – which revised the global interest in the franchise throughout 2024 but left fans who cling to a new game – can also affect its strategy. This time the company could try to synchronize Wolfenstein Show's debut with the release of a large new post in the series, which maximizes cross-media momentum.
