The following contains smaller spoilers for solo -niveness manhwa.
Solo department has continued to find tremendous success with its anime adaptation thanks to its accessibility, intense focus on Power Fantasy Storytelling and fantastic animated fight scenes. But a common criticism of the series so far is that it gives too little attention to its other characters besides Jinwoo, which makes the show feel a bit one -dimensional.
Given that a season 3 is probably guaranteed thanks to Solo department Anime's breakout success, will the future story dive more into the other characters, which many viewers long for? Will the future seasons relieve what some see as a series deficiency to not develop the side characters enough to care about them?
Family
Solo Living Season 3 will reveal how dangerous Jin-Woo gets when he's angry
During Season 3, the most important thing that other characters should avoid making Jin-Woo angry.
Stepping Stone Side characters
The story just seems to care about Jinwoo
During seasons 1 and 2 Solo Living, The story is unapologetically focused on Jinwoo's growth. Other characters are mostly found in the story to develop Jinwoo in some way. S-Rank Hunters is there as a milestone for Jinwoo to pass, and many of the characters of the hostile hunter exist to get in Jinwoo's way and give him something other than monsters to defeat. While some can enjoy the individual perspective that the show offers viewers, it sometimes feels like a shame because the show is opened by teasing the development of more characters that feel undercooked.
This tendency in the story is exemplified in the nature of Lee Joee, which was originally established as a potential love interest for Jinwoo. But when Jinwoo gains power and ventures into a solo experience, Joohee is largely absent from history. This eventually culminates in a scene where Joohee goes away from the limelight and stops being a hunter, now mainly downgraded from a side character to a background character. It seems that even her development existed only to serve as a contrast to Jinwoo in the story. Her weaker way of thinking to run from Challenge contrasts with Jinwoos core of fighting against insurmountable odds to the end. So far in the story, no major character has had development on its own, which does not eventually support Jinwoo in any way or make his journey more interesting.

Solo Living Season 3 will traumatize Jin-Woo's sister and change her life
Jin-Woo's sister, Jin-ah, is taking on a more serious but dangerous role that will change her life in solo leveling season 3, and here is why.
Will this change come in season 3?
The story is likely to have more moments with other characters
For those looking for the story to start developing other characters besides Jinwoo, Season 3 will probably be the best chance yet. Probably the beginning of the season will showcase the struggle between Cha HAe-In and Beru, some of the more beloved characters that are starting to get more focus than ordinary page characters. Cha Hae-ins potential as a love interest actually starts to be delivered on, and Beru is a fun but surprising source of temporary comic relief. It says something about the series that some of the most popular characters among the fans are Jinwoo's shadow dolls and those in love with him.
“Beru: My king, that's me.”
“Jinwoo: Oh, that's you.”
-Beru and Jinwoo coordinate as a team in Chapter 137
But many of the possible arches that can be adapted to Season 3 Focus on Jinwoo that discover the origin of his powers and formalize his own guild, says stories that do not have as many moments for other characters shine. The potential is there to introduce more moments to other characters, but the team that develops the adaptation for Season 3 may need to go out of their way of including them. We will also be introduced to national hunters, and there will be opportunities to showcase their skills in fights that are mostly skipped in Manhwa.
“The one giant that had traveled over the sea … was defeated by Liu Zhigang.” -A a panel explanation showing the national Hunter Liu Zhigang that defeated a powerful enemy that Jinwoo missed in Chapter 139.
How much focus is placed on other characters for their own sake in Season 3 is ultimately up to the team that adapts it, but it would be nice to have some extra moments of development outside Jinwoo for a change during the past season. But given the show's success, it is challenging to advise them to change their strategy. Hopefully we will see some further character development and moments that use the potential of the source material, which helps to mitigate one of the series' most widespread criticism.
