Why hasn't Naruto awakened Rinnegan?

NarutoLegacy still lives with the serialization of Boruto: Two blue vortex. While many fans were not fond of it in the beginning, the new sequel delivers an exciting story that could live up to the original manganese. In addition, many fans expect Boruto to fill some of the gaps left Naruto.

One thing that has not been properly explained is the reason why Naruto Uzumaki has not been able to wake Rinnegan, even though he got the chakra by the Visman from six paths. Could there be any tips on why he has never released this ability?

The relationship between Rinnegan and Sharingan

Rinnegan is considered to be the strongest Doujutsu, which is even more exciting than both Sharingan and Byakugan. It is also considered a kind of development of the Sharingan, because the Sharingan users can wake it if they get Hagoromos Chakra, either directly from him or by combining the chakra in his sons, Indra and Asura otssuki. Therefore, although it is an advanced form of Sharingan in a way, Sharingan users cannot wake the Rinnegan by themselves who happens to the Mangekyo Sharingan. They will need either to implant chakra from Asura and Indra in themselves or to receive chakra directly from Hagoromo. Could Naruto have aroused Rinnegan?

Can Naruto still wake Rinnegan in Boruto?
