The future for War god Franchise has been a prominent subject in play since its last post, RagnarokBeat the stage back in 2022. War god Have continued to be one of Sony's most popular franchise, and many want to know where it is on the next. There are plenty of theories that suggest an Atreus-led spin-off or the series that changes to the Egyptian Pantheon, but developer Santa Monica Studio has not yet confirmed anything.
As exciting, War god Is about to celebrate the 20th anniversary and leave room for potential announcements about Franchiset's future plans. While War god has been one of the leaders of Sony's action adventure list, Horizon Franchise has also grown into a staple series that the company is determined to grow. One of the latest spin-off in the Horizon series was last year's Lego Horizon Adventures. Although the game did not perform as well as Sony had hoped, it may open the door for more Lego Crossovers, and in that case War god Would be the perfect franchise for round two.

God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man are in a similar boat
Good of War and Marvel's Spider-Man may have lots of differences, but the future of the two franchise presents a mirror image.
God of War is perfect for Sony's next shot on a lego-spin-off
Horizon may not have been best suited for Lego
The Horizon The series has been quite successful for Sony, but War god Has the mechanics and a world that can translate a LEGO adaptation incredibly well. Both Horizon and War god boasting with serious tones, which Lego games definitely do not, but the character dynamics of the latter can prove to be a much better match for another team-up with the toy company. Lego Horizon Adventures Was a bold risk, but unfortunately it did not knit the landing. The game was launched for heavily mixed reviews, which can make all future Sony collaborations with Lego difficult.
But if the company wants to take the leap again, War god May have what it takes to see Sony's Lego ambitions through. To imagine Krato's stoic nature with Atreus' Snark can be really fun to show through the Lego lens, as it can turn the father and son duo into something of a friend -police relationship. The relationship between Kratos and Atreus has been the heart of the franchisee's new era, and seeing a more lighter tag can be extremely entertaining. Kratos and Atreus are not the only characters that would be ideal for Lego adaptations either.

A lego-spin-off game that combines both the ancient Greek and northern eras for a showdown can be an exciting way to follow. Seeing Zeus and Odin go head-to-head while Mimir makes sarcastic comments is not that hard to imagine. However, character personalities aside is the combat formula for Lego Games where a hypothetical War god Adaptation can really shine.
War god and Horizon Franchise is both set to get live-action adaptations, the former a TV series and the latter a movie.
Legos Beat-EM-Up Mechanics are perfect for God's War
Over the years, Lego has focused on a specific combat loop. Granted, the battle in Lego Horizon Adventures was pretty funny, but War god Would simply have more to offer when it comes to diversity. Kratos' leaves of chaos in LEGO form are an exciting idea, and the character's skill for hacking and slashing through enemies would probably feel much more satisfactory.
War god Is about to celebrate the 20th anniversary and leave room for potential announcements about Franchiset's future plans.
After the unfortunate performance of Lego Horizon AdventuresIt remains to be seen whether Sony will give another of its franchisees to Lego. From now on, there is no way to know for sure, but if Sony gets itching to cooperate a second time, War god is the perfect candidate.
