The Straw Hats' journey through the seas of One Piece has been filled with incredible amounts of dangers and dangers. It seems that more often than not the crew is locked in a desperate struggle for survival, fighting the fleet, other pirates or even the sea of the Grand Line itself. In many cases, the Straw Hat Crew have fought hard to get where they are One Pieceface all dangers and strife to see their dreams come true.
This even applies to the training the Straw Hats were forced to endure during the two years the crew was separated. This One Piece Time Skip had each crew member go to an island where they honed their skills to prepare for their journey One Piece's New world. But while this sounds like a relaxed training adventure, some Straw Hats had worse islands than others, and some even endured a dangerous nightmare scenario to survive their ordeal.
Although many of these islands are incredibly dangerous, the time spent on the island will also factor into the calculation. This means that if a character spent less time on the island, it wasn't nearly as dangerous for them.

Most Straw Hats went to a safe place
These islands were tough but fair to the crew
-
Most Straw Hats had relatively safe islands with strong mentors
-
Robin had to liberate a prison camp but soon joined the revolutionary army
First off, most of the Straw Hat Pirates, including Nami, Brook, Franky, Sanji, Chopper, and Zoro, had relatively easy islands to survive on. Namely, Nami and Sanji had an incredibly easy time with gracious hosts, even if the latter resisted every step of the way during his time there. Although Brook, Franky, Chopper and the mighty swordsman Zoro encountered some problems on their islands, mainly when they were captured or had to fight dangerous creatures, on these islands, for the most part, they either became fast friends with their captors or had relaxing places to stay on the island.

One Piece: Usopp is tougher than fans give him credit for
While many see Usopp as the weakest Straw Hat in One Piece, he is much tougher than fans give him credit for.
As for Robin, although the first part of her journey, which involved fighting Tequila Wolf's labor camp, the Straw Hat Archaeologist was eventually picked up by One Piece's Revolutionary army. Although she probably went on some dangerous missions here, she also had a very stable place to live and powerful allies to help her.
Luffy and Usopp had incredibly dangerous islands
These islands were constantly life or death situations
While Luffy's island was undoubtedly full of the most powerful creatures, proportionally, Usopp probably had the worst island to skip training in One Piece. On his island, Luffy also had the help of one of the strongest One Piece characters currently alive, the pirate, Silvers Rayleigh. Usopp, on the other hand, had to survive on an island where almost everything was deadly, while being the weakest member of the Straw Hat Crew. Although he had a mentor, Heracles, who helped guide his journey, it seems that Usopp had to put in the most effort to survive and had the closest death on his island.
When the world pushes you around, you just have to stand up and push back. – Zoro
While no island was easy for the Straw Hats One Piece's time skip training, it's safe to say that Usopp got the worst island of the bunch. That being said, if Luffy, Zoro, or any of the other Straw Hats were sent to the Boin Archipelago, they would most likely have a much easier time surviving. However, for one of the weakest One Piece characters this was an intense struggle for survival.
