Where Winds Meet reveals December 2025 content roadmap

It's clear that Everstone Studios has big plans for Where winds meet as a new content roadmap has revealed some big additions coming in December. It's already been a whirlwind month for Everstone Studios following the launch of Where winds meet on November 14, as the action RPG has proven to be a huge success story for the company.

While there was plenty of buzz for the title during its early access and beta testing window, the game seems to have taken off more than probably expected. In fact, Where winds meet hit a huge player milestone in just 24 hours after launch, reaching 2 million players and reaching the top 10 in various bestseller lists on Steam and PlayStation. That number continued to explode, eventually reaching 9 million players after being available for two weeks. With a healthy player base in tow, Everstone seems to have ambitious plans to keep fans engaged.

Where Winds Meet December 2025 Content Roadmap

In a new post on social media, Everstone Studios revealed a new content roadmap for all of December 2025, breaking things down each week of the month. Week 1 is already in full swing, with two more Jianghu Legacy quests being added to the game with Twelve Years of Feuds and An Unholy Prophecy. Players should already be familiar with these missions, as the ones that launched with the game can offer some amazing abilities, like the ability to fly into Where winds meet.

As of Week 2, which begins on December 11, Where winds meet will be officially launched for mobile devices, giving players a different way to play the game. Week 2 is also a good time to log in as a brand new zone called Roaring Sands will make its debut in the Kiang region, and also house a new campaign boss to fight known as River Master. This battle will be a duo boss fight joined by Feng Ruzhi, but players should be prepared to fight a water god and expect a tough fight on par with other big bosses in Where winds meet. Week 2 also adds a couple of limited time activities as well as the Velvet Shade Sect.

The content rollout doesn't stop there though, as Weeks 3 and 4 add even more for players to do. Starting December 21st, players can participate in the Scarlet Shock Sword Trial, which is a repeatable PvE activity to target certain gear. A new Hero's Realm activity will also go live on the same day called Blazing Gale Dance, a 10-player cooperative raid/dungeon style. Finally, on December 30, players can sit back and enjoy a special fireworks festival to celebrate the end of the year.

Based on this December 2025 plan as well as some of the updates players have already seen, it's clear that Everstone doesn't plan to rest on its laurels after such a successful launch. The game seems to be constantly changing and evolving over time thanks to player feedback. There may even be some bigger features on the horizon as well, including a vehicle-building mechanic reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda. While released in China so far, players can spend resources such as wood to craft custom vehicles, similar to how players can do with Ultrahand in The tears of the kingdom. It is unknown when this will launch worldwide, but it will be interesting to see what players can do with it.
