Meloettain Pokemon Legends ZA, players must complete the Main Story of the Pokemon Legends ZA Mega Dimension DLCincluding Hyperspace Mission 12 – The Greatest Gift, Hyperspace Mission 13 – A Ruby-Red Legend and Hyperspace Mission 14- A Sapphire-Blue Legend.
This means players will basically have to complete the main quest and post game, capturing Kyogre, Groudon, and finally Rayquaza, before moving on to the rest of the legendaries, including Meloetta.

To get Meloetta players must complete a round of accumulating survey points and then activate the Special Scan by talking to Phillipe in the Rust Syndicate.
Players will notice that an unknown distortion has appeared somewhere on the map. It must be the yellow unknown distortion, not the red one (it's a combat zone).
Now players must go there with a level 100+ Donut ready, then save their game at the entrance to Distortion. Players should not worry too much about the day/night cycle (which resets normal distortions) as this particular wild zone does not move from the location where it appears. So to get Meloetta players have to go into the rift and wait for Corbeau to talk to them. Meloetta often spawns in the atrium of Hyperspace Lumiose's “shops”, it's a long gallery and the only entrance to a building players can find in this Distortion, so they can't miss it. Unfortunately, Meloetta seems to be one of the legendaries currently Shiny Lockedso there is no chance of making it spread by using a Sparkling Power Donut.
The good news is that this Pokemon is relatively easy to catch. Just stay hidden behind the wall of the entrance and then approach slowly when Meloetta looks to the opposite side.
