What to do with fish in zoi

Inzoi Allows ZOI to take on a variety of hobbies when they are not working or handling other tasks. Some of these hobbies, such as painting, writing or fishing, can even be used to make some money and/or acquire useful items.

It is worth noting that some articles acquired in this way cannot be sold directly and instead use the pocket market and/or the used sales mechanic. Pocket Market is reached via a ZOI's smartphone, while used sales require you to buy a used sales counter and then place the items on it.

A great way to earn some extra money in InzoiAlthough it also acquires some other useful and interesting objects, it is by fishing. The fishing system in Inzoi is currently a bit barebones, although it is likely that it will be updated and/or reworked as the game continues to go to specific places in each of the game's cities.

By choosing from two types of bait, a zoi can spend a fixed time fishing before getting a random object, which is usually but not always a fish.

Inzoi: How to renovate furniture

Objects and furniture that get a lot of use start to break down in zoi so here is how to renovate objects so that they look as good as new.

How to fish in zoi

Fishing is a great way to get ingredients, and everything you do not want to cook can easily be sold for more money, so here is how you get started. You have to go to a part of the city that is treated as a “fishing spot.” A good example of this would be Harang River Park, in Dowon. You can go to a small area next to the river here to find these thanks boxes, which can be interacted with to access two fishing interactions. A fantastic fishing spot you can visit in Bliss Bay is North BeachWhere you can go out on the jetties to find thank boxes that can be used to access fishing interactions.

“Go Fishing” allows you to fish for free, while “Fish with Advanced Bait” will spend 5 meow to use better bait and (usually) catch bigger and better fish. It doesn't take long to catch something, so you probably want to queue for some cases of what action you prefer, so your ZOI will continue to fish a little longer. There are lots of different fish you can find this way, although their uses are a little limited in the current building of the game, and you can also sometimes fish up other objects such as dolls.

It is likely that more fishing spaces will be added when more cities are implemented during development. When you try to track a fishing spot, it is best to go to a public place that is adjacent to a river, lake or to the sea.

So far, it seems that fishing with advanced bait offers a higher chance to catch better fish and other rare objects. In all my attempts when I tested, I only caught the large barracuda when I used advanced bait, although it is likely that you can catch it with regular bait at lower odds.

Once you have caught some fish, there are a few different things you can do with your catch. Everything that your ZOI catches will initially be held in hand, although they will move it to their layer whenever they have to do something that uses their hands. You can take them back by clicking on them in the inventory and then press the “Remove” button at the bottom right of the inventory panel.

When your zoi holds the fish, they can put it down on most surfaces by clicking on the surface and clicking on “location”. However, fish do not remain fresh forever, so you should not leave them lying around your house if you can avoid it. Instead, you want to sell them used or file them to get ingredients.

All fish can be sold used, and if you plan to sell many of them you should buy a used sales counter and set it outside your Zoi's houseWhere you can then put down your catches. Click on one and press “Sell secondhand” to set a price, so you can hopefully be able to make a nice little profit from your fishing capades.

Some fish, usually the larger ones, can also be turned into fish fillets by using the “fillet” option after clicking on them. This will turn them into fish fillets, which do not expire for any reason and that are needed for certain recipes. All zoi planning the cooking capacity will eventually stumble upon certain recipes that require fish fillets, such as sushi, so it is worth doing some fishing if you want variation in their cooking.

You can buy a used sales counter in the Build Mode menu. It is easier to find it if you write “used” in the search field, as it is the only item in the Build menu that contains that word. Secondhand sales counters can also be used to sell other items that you may not want, including decorative items such as vases or bottles.

Useful information about fishing in Inzoi

Inzoi_fishing Location 1

Fishing in Inzoi has no skill associated with it, although this can change as the early access period continues, so your zois will always be equally competent at fishing no matter how much they do. This is important to know because some non-fishing objects can be pulled up from the sea by fishing, and some fish are rare than others. There is still no way to increase or decrease the odds to find certain objects apart from choosing to use advanced bait, which seems to increase the odds to pull up more valuable fish and objects.

Here is a quick list of some of the fishermen and other items that we have acquired when investigating fishing, although it is important to note that this is not an exhaustive list and there are probably more items to find:
