To unseal the Cloister of Ruination, you must complete four steps:

After defeating one of the Antumbra bosses, you will gain knowledge of an enemy called Ator, Antumbra Archon. He is the sealed boss of the Ruination Monastery.

Each of the Antumbra bosses is located in a Sanctum belonging to a specific witch. You don't need to clear the Sanctums to continue with the Cloister of Ruination quest, as just defeating the boss is enough.

Keep in mind that these areas are filled with enemies and some will join the boss fight. Sanctums are scattered around Pywel and reaching some of them can prove difficult, so be prepared.

The Antumbra bosses are mostly manageable as long as you are prepared for the deadly attacks that can shoot you. Some have a gimmick that makes them easier to fight, like Antumbra's Staff's deadly attack which can be avoided by using Force Palm to stop him.

The Cloister of Ruination is located west of Pailune, near Silver Wolf Mountain. You can find it after entering the Wayward Woods.

Ruin Monastery near Abyss Scar in Crimson Desert

The monastery is quite far from most of the Abyss Nexus, so it may take some time to reach it. Fortunately, after visiting it for the first time, you can climb to the highest point next to the monastery to find an Abyss Cresset. This is used as a fast travel to get back quickly when the seal is broken.
