Villains that embarrassed Luffy in one piece

This list contains spoilers!

While Luffy can be the main character in A bit Story, that doesn't mean he has ever handed over a victory on a silver barrel. From the beginning, Luffy has had to fight with everything he has to overcome the opponents that he has encountered during his epic adventure, and while he can usually get the job done in the end, there have still been many cases where the picking straw captain has been completely humiliated and embarrassed by a powerful villain.

This happened a lot in history's early arches before Luffy got a bunch of power-ups that would help him give an advantage in battle, which caused him to often bite more than he could chew. Given that he has god -like forces today thanks to his devil fruit, there are not many marine soldiers and pirates who can actually keep up with Luffy, but this really has not always been the case, as evidenced by these A bit Wascers who humiliated the protagonist in some fairly awful ways earlier in the story.

Crocodile

The evil tyrant from Alabasta stamps out lousy time and time

When Vivi explains to Luffy that her country is thrown into a civil war by a dangerous warlord known as crocodile, the straw captain was eager to get hold of the tyrant for himself. But when the crew actually reaches the wonderful island of Alabasta, Luffy's feelings end up being better off him, when he throws himself against crocodile on several occasions, just to be stamped in no more than a few seconds each time.

The truth is that the mastery of the crocodile over his sand sand fruit was just too much for Luffy to handle, especially considering that Luffy did not have arming Haki at that time to deal with any form of significant damage to the dangerous lodge user. While crocodile humiliated Luffy several times, it is most remarkable as he stacked him through his chest with his hook and threw him in a sand Whirlpool, where he could actually have lost his life if Robin had not helped him when she did.

Smokers

Smokers used their sea tone blade to attach luffy down

In the story in question, smokers would have a rather difficult time dealing with any form of injury to Luffy, given how extremely powerful the captain has become, but back in Loguetown was the shoe on the second foot. Thanks to the smoker's choice of weapons, made by Sea Stone, he was able to attach Luffy by weakening his devil fruit forces and ensuring that he could not use his elongated limbs to make a quick escape.

This was one of the first moments where Luffy and the straw hats were forced to acknowledge the real strength of the Marine soldier, and emphasized to the Stråhatt captain that he can not just walk around all the time if he actually wants to survive in such a dangerous world. It was an embarrassing moment for Luffy, but one that finally contributed to his growth as a character.

Aokiji

Maybe to ask for a duel with an Admiral wasn't Luffy's smartest idea

Although he only shows up at the end of the bow, Aokiji makes his debut on Long Ring Long Land where he tries to capture Nico Robin by using his deadly ice forces. Not someone to lie around while his crewmates were kidnapped, Luffy decided to stand up to the Admiral and challenge him to a duel, but he knew a little that this would be a serious mistake, as the man at the end of the day was one of the most powerful marines in the strength.

Although Luffy threw everything he had at Aokiji, the latter would eventually humiliate the captain in front of his crew by freezing him without even breaking sweat. This was a fantastic scene to show how much stronger Luffy and the crew would have to be if they wanted any chance to meet against the Admirals, as it is fair to say that this was a pretty brutal defeat for Luffy to deal with.

Rob Lucci

CP9 operative threw Luffy to the other side of an island

A stylish method for following Luffy's power growth as a character is by looking at his confrontations with Rob Luci. On the latest Egghead Island arch, he could actually overpower the CP9 operative by using his Gear 5 technology, but back in water 7, when he had barely even activated Gear 2, he finally did not have a chance against the terrible Zoan Leopard.

When Lucci and his gang of undercover spies reveal their real identity, lungs Luffy on the leader in the hope of taking him down for good, just to be spit through his chest and defeated with a single finger gun. However, this is not all, since the captain would then be launched all the way to the other side of the island after being thrown through a wall. Of course, it was a pretty bad show from the Stråhatt captain, but thankfully he would get revenge at Lucci not long in the Enies lobby.

3

Magell

Luffy underestimated the real power of Impel Down's main guard

As the main guard of the Impel Down prison, it makes sense that Magellan would have to be strong, but thanks to his non -toxic fruit, he can take out all the steadfast prisoners in just a few seconds, which he almost did with Luffy. Luffy is not someone who cares so much about the consequences of his actions, and as a result he was willing to throw himself at Magellan at the moment he looked at him, which turned out to be a deadly mistake.

After being covered by poison, Luffy's body becomes completely motionless, and if it was not for Ivankof to help him and heal him, there is a great chance that he would have died as a result of the attack. The fact that Magellan could wipe out Luffy with such little effort made this battle look like a real squash match, so it's good that Luffy had some other prisoners to help them after his defeat, as it was definitely a pretty scary moment for the main character.

2

Kaido

The violent Yonko destroyed Luffy with a single attack

When Luffy had arrived in Wano, it felt like he was finally prepared to take down Kaido. After all, he had already defeated his reasonable number of warlords, and was also mentored by the legendary silver Rayleigh, so sure to make a victory over a Yonko would not be that difficult, or at least, that was how it seemed at first. Luffy decided that it was a good idea to take on Kaido alone not long after arrived in Wano, and initially this plan really seemed to work because he could make some hits on Yonko while he was drunk.

After sobering up, all it takes is a single thunder Bagua for Kaido to knock out Luffy and show off that giant gap in power levels that still existed between the two. This is not the only time Luffy was sent packaging by Kaido, as this actually happened several times before he can eventually arouse the underlying power of his devil fruit to beat him, but he probably took some beats before he came to that point.

Iskoin

Akainu exposed Lffy's naivety to kill his own brother

Most of Luffy's humiliations in the series come as he is trying to fight against someone he has no chance to defeat, but this situation is a little different. Luffy's entire reasoning to enter the Marineford war was to save his brother Ace, and after hitting a whole swarm of marine soldiers, he came extremely close to achieving his goal, that is, until Akainu swept in to destroy everything.

While Acainu mainly wanted to kill Ace, he could see in the background that Luffy was desperately trying to pick up the Vivre card that blew in the wind, which made him a simple goal. Akainu chose to reveal Luffy's naivety by going to an attack, just because his brother Ace would jump in the way, disappoint his organs from the inside and kill him. This is one of the most emotional moments in the story, but in retrospect it was also a very humiliating moment for Luffy himself, which was determined to save Ace no matter what, just because the plan would fail. On the bright side, this traumatic incident inspired at least Luffy to mature and grow as a character, and in the end it is most important to remove from moments as ease.
