TWD seasons with the best action

This list contains spoilers!

While The Walking Dead Is a show that is well known to its exciting characters and convincing story, it has also been loved for its chaotic action scenes. It is always an explosion to be able to see Rick and the gang that turns away at a Horde of bloodthirsty zombies or engage in an arms fight against an enemy's fraction, but with that said, there are some selected seasons that contain much more exciting adrenaline pumping action than the others.

There is always a time and space for a season that is a bit slower and more character -focused, but The Walking Dead Is distinguished for how well it handles its crazy all-out fractions and nail-biting exchanges between the various survivors from the apocalypse. Anyone who wants to look again at some of The Walking Dead And want to get deep into the action should take a trip back to the seasons listed below.

Season 1

The beginning of Rick's journey contains some really intense segments with hikers

After waking up from a coma and finding himself in a world that seems to have gone to hell, Rick is seriously unprepared to shield the gigantic swarms of hikers he is in the city. Because of this, each scene with the meat -donut zombies feels like a real struggle for survival, an excellent example is the last ten minutes of the first episode, where Rick is forced to take on literally hundreds of zombies, before he eventually is forced to protect himself by climbing into a tank.

The season is only six episodes long, and since it has to set many of the main characters, the action scenes are not as common as in some of the coming seasons, but this stops making them even more intense, especially knowing that someone could die, given how inexperienced the characters were all at that time.

Season 11

The last season of the show ends the story with a little heartbread action

Given the large number of fractions that play an important role in Season 11, it is only inevitable that they would all end up colliding sooner or later. After Alexandria was almost destroyed by the whisper, Maggie and the other survivors are forced to explore their surroundings, and they soon encounter the dangerous group of fanatics called Reapers, who are more than willing to cut someone as their leader, the Pope, sees as an enemy.

Although this already results in some fairly chaotic fight scenes, what also helps the action is standing out during the last season the introduction of the Commonwealth. These Stormtrooper-looking soldiers are much more advanced than the fan-favorite survivors, which allows them to eradicate hikers in some rather creative and unique ways. This does not even mention the new Ghoulish Feral enemies, which gives a nice healthy breath from the usual hikers who have been around since the beginning.

Season 3

Rick and the survivors are in cleans up and eventually protect a whole prison

After the survivors are forced to flee from Hershel's farm, they stumble over a massive, well -defended prison that seems to be a better place than anything to hold out against the hikers. The prison is there much of Season 3 takes place, and it is fair to say that Rick and the others hardly ever get a moment to rest when they set foot in the building. Originally, they are not only zombies, but also the prisoners who seem less than happy to have new visitors.

As soon as things seem like they can finally calm down, focus changes to Woodbury, where the contemptible governor kills people to the left and right. Season 3 is a real prominent when it comes to action, which is why it has been so loved by many fans.

Season 9

Alpha and her whisper spread terror and chaos wherever they go

It is early in Season 9 that Alpha and the eerie zombie-like enemies called Whisperers debut. Given the whips can affect the hikers by hiding as one among the crew, it leads to lots of exciting battles. The struggle in the cemetery, for example, has this dark and creepy atmosphere that makes it feel extremely intense, given that there was no way for anyone to predict the whips' martial style.

Since this is the last season that presents Rick Grimes, the show's star also plays a big role in some of the season's biggest fights, although unfortunately he never gets to meet the whisper face to face. The epic duel between Daryl and Beta also deserves a special cry for the fantastic hand-to-hand choreography. After the recent seasons, which were devoted to setting up the war with Negan, it is also nice to see some classic fights against hikers, which once again felt like a genuine threat thanks to the whips inclusion.

Season 5

The fifth season starts with an explosive breakout from Terminus

Season 5 may be just the most unpredictable episode of the entire series, as the whole thing feels like an exciting tension that never takes the foot from the gas. It starts with one of the best action sequences in the show, which sees Rick and the gang break out from Termus and shoot down all the evil cannibals that dare to try to stop them. Since the group is divided during much of the season, it each gives more than enough time to show what they really are made of during their specific action scenes, whether it is to focus on Abraham and his mission to reach Washington, or Rick's desperate attempts to save Beth from the hospital.

Even when Rick finally reaches Alexandria's sanctuary, it is not long before the action goes up again, given how difficult it is for him and his group of survivors to live peacefully after the horror they have already undergone. There are many very convincing and memorable character moments in season 5, but these are still paired with a good dose of action that keeps things exciting from start to finish.

2

Season 4

The siege in prison is still one of, if not the best, the action sequence in the series

Season 4 often gets a little flake for the disease in prison in prison, which certainly feels a bit pulled out, but it does not take long before the efforts are thrown into high gear. Section 8 undoubtedly contains the largest action set in the entire series: The Prison Siege. The governor, armed with a swarm of loyal followers, a strong armored tank and a few hostages by his side, walks up to the prison roof and explains war against Rick and his surviving band.

What follows is a fantastic battle between the two forces, where it really feels like no one is sure. There are also some minor fights that stand out, such as Rick's Gory struggle against the claimers, who first experienced how brutal Rick can really be when pressed to their boundaries.

1

Season 8

After much preparation, the war against Negan finally starts

While much of season 7 was spent setting the stage for the upcoming war against Negan and his violent package with Savior, Season 8 is where things really start. For starters, Rick and the Allied factions only decide to take out a few small salvation posts, but all these minor accidents eventually lead to the whole war, which season 8 is most remembered for.

There are also a handful of new fractions that are introduced that also participate in the action, including the mysterious Scavengers, who do a good job of keeping the fans guess from the moment they make their debut. This season is full of nail -biting action scenes, especially in the last episodes where the two armies finally come face to face. All structure makes the final confrontation between Rick and Negan one that honestly is very difficult to forget.
