Tiktok Content creator John E. Crawley, aka Kingbeardx, died on August 18 at the age of 47. Social media is a place where someone can do content about anything and potentially grow a large following. This has enabled users to become familiar with a number of unique personalities that would otherwise not have received the attention they deserved. Tiktok and Instagram, with their bite -sized content that can suck viewers II hours, were two such roads for Kingbeardx.
A Mississippi-based creator, John E. Crawley's popularity on social media began to grow around 2020, thanks to his fun and exaggerated reactions to things as everyday as someone who eats cinnamon rolls. His related observations and playful humor, combined with his brand Fluffy Beard, Kingbeardx received a following of over 3.5 million over Tiktok and Instagram. Crawley also went by Moniker Pimpmunkx on Twitter and previously hosted a podcast with Anthony Caruso, alias Shabisky.
John E. Crawley, known as KingBeardx, goes away
Caruso started a Gofundme campaign to raise money for Crawley's hospital stay, which his friend revealed had begun in early August. The content creator had first presented breathing difficulties, was put on a ventilator for low oxygen levels and finally ended in the ICU. On August 18, Kingbeardx died at the age of 47, reportedly due to cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.
Obviously, fans reactions on Crawley's passing began to appear on his newer videos on Tiktok and Instagram, as well as his memory page on Glenfield Funeral Home website. Comments like “Fly High Unc” and “Tell me that it's just a rumor” sums up how Kingbeardx's followers feel in response to the news. “His videos made many of my bad days so much brighter,” wrote a fan during his death. In the case of Gofundme, it has been converted from a $ 31,574 target for Crawley's hospital bills to $ 9,000 to cover his funeral costs. It has collected close to $ 3,000 so far.
Unfortunately, KingBeardx is not the first popular content creator to pass unexpectedly or prematurely, and he will undoubtedly not be the last. Sometimes fans have a little warning to prepare mentally, for example when Minecraft Youtuber Technoblade passed in 2022. But often, physical or mental health problems suddenly strike and leave family members and followers stunned. But these content creators, although never or just superficially met in real life, can have a lasting impact on those who remember them. Even now, annual memory records that go away from people like Ethika and Reckful, five and six years after their deaths, celebrate, and John E. Crawley's passing can inspire his fans to do the same.
