Recently, Yoshihiro Togashi shared an update on his X (formerly Twitter) account confirming that the manuscripts for Hunter x Hunter Chapters 414-418 have been completed. However, neither Togashi nor Shonen Jump has shared any information about the return of the Hunter x Hunter manga.
Considering that several manuscripts have been completed, there is a good chance that the manga will return to Shonen Jump in the coming months. In fact, it could be as early as next month. Meanwhile, it is possible that fans may have to wait for several months again to read the new chapters of Hunter x Hunter. Hopefully Togashi or Shonen Jump will share more news soon to ease fans' fears.

If there's one thing HxH fans deserve credit for, it's their patience. They have stood by Togashi's side for years, even when the author was seriously ill. No one wanted Togashi to rush. Instead, they urged the author to take as much time as he needed. Thankfully, Togashi seems to be doing better. Otherwise he would not work on any of the manuscripts.
Hunter x Hunter needs a new anime
It's been a long time since HxH got an anime adaptation
Hunter x Hunter last received an anime adaptation in 2011, and since then there have been no updates whatsoever. But those involved in the franchise need to get to work to produce a new anime. In this day and age, a solid anime adaptation can greatly increase the series' fame.
So if Hunter x Hunter releases an anime it will get a lot more people talking about it. The release of a new anime will also boost sales of the manga.
