But if you want the latter, you have to toss the coins from both sides because the top board goes backwards.

Don't spend all your tickets first
For your first ~two rounds, if you don't have free stuff to buy, you can almost skip the store. At least for your first runs. The reason is that you don't get many tickets at firstand buying a single special coin can take most of the balance of tickets you have. Tickets work not only for buying in the store, but also for exchange them for coins when you need extra.
So, with this in mind, wait a few turns before buying anything. As a rule of thumb, I usually start buying when I have at least 50 tickets.
Keep your scoring rate in mind
When you discover the ridiculous amount of coins in Raccoin, you will see it most of them have unique effects that add value to themselves or other coins. You might think that your main goal should be to have the coins that have the most value. It may be correct for some playstyles and contexts, but we highly recommend it you focus on your scoring rate.
Rating Rate is the value of your score multipliermeaning the value of your coins will be multiplied by it. This applies not only to your special coins, but also to all your regular ones – so basically, every coin on the board. It's better to have a high multiplier than single coins with high values - although the ideal scenario is to have a strong balance between both, of course.
Bullish Coin is one of the best special coins for this initially, as it increases your hit rate by one just for being in play.
Buy horizontal clip expansions first
When you start playing Raccoin, one of your goals should be pick up every new special coin you can. The idea is to learn all their effects as soon as possible, so you know which ones adapt more to your playstyle. Also, you unlock new coins and other items by doing this.
To help you with this, you must purchase Clip Expansions. They come in two forms: vertical and horizontal. The former allows you to have multiple copies of the same coin, while the latter allows you to buy more different ones. Since you can only buy a maximum of six expansions per run, and this does not differentiate between the two forms, you should focus on horizontal ones.
If a killer coin pops up, buy it
Every other round, you will get Bad Coins. There are many different specimens of this category, and they can ruin your run with effects like destroying every coin that falls off the machine or halving your score. So you have to do something to avoid it.
That's where Killer Coins will come into play. Although there are a few other coins with similar effects, the most common you will find is this raccoon. It will help you defeat six Bad Coins nearby.
Remember our earlier tip about not buying anything on your first visit to the stores? Well, you are breaking that rule if you can buy Killer Coins and store them when the time comes.
There is also a chip that automatically removes your bad coins during a round. It's not that common though, so you should stick to Killer Coin.
Enter the store quickly after each round
Each round in Raccoin is supposed to end when you reach the target score. Something that the game is a bit ambiguous about is that you can delay when you start the next roundas the machine will continue to work and move the available coins.
We recommend that you avoid doing this and press Enter Shop as soon as it becomes available. You see, while all the special coins and items you have on the board will still be there for the next round, you don't get a bonus* for going over the score. And if the wheel spin is activated, you will be blocked from closing the round until the wheel is finished.
Some chips work when you reach a percentage above the target score, but those are the only exceptions.
That's why you have to finish the round as soon as possible every time, so you can leave the coins that are about to fall for your next round and start with some good points.
Infinity Squishie is the best modifier
As you play more runs you will unlock Modifiers, which are special items you attach to a special coin to add a new effect to it. One of the best you'll find is called the Infinity Squishie.
With Infinity Squishiesyou will be able to have a special coin that always returns to your clip when it falls out of the machine, is absorbed, or leaves the board for some other reason. Basically it goes forever, and when you have a special coin like Sun that can drastically change your board and improve the other coins you have in play, you'll love having this back all the time.
Don't let the Angry Blowfish Keychain get away
Every time you pass a few rounds, you get a key ringwhich gives you a permanent reward for the rest of the run. There are many useful keychains, such as dog food, that give you unlimited auto-fills. But when you start the game you should focus on Angry Blowfish.
This helpful friend is coming drastically increase the range of effect of your prices. It might not sound like much at first, but when you start getting lots of prizes that absorb all the coins in a certain area, you'll love this upgrade.
