The strongest attacks from the main cast, ranked

Even if Dragon Ball Super anime went on a long hiatus that has only recently ended with the announcement of the Galactic Patrol arc, the manga continued for quite a few years afterwards. In its continuing story, there were a few new arcs that introduced incredible power-ups for each of the main warriors of Universe 7.

As of now, the five main characters in the series have recently unlocked powerful new transformations that are far stronger than any that have come before them. As such, this awakened strength has also brought with it enormously powerful techniques that each of them use, so let's take a look at the strongest move of each member of the main cast of Dragon Ball Super.

Piccolo's ultimate attack is still likely the special beam cannon

Strongest form: Orange Piccolo

• A proven technique.

The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero arc was loved by the community, especially because it brought Gohan and Piccolo back to the main cast of the series. With Piccolo, this was done through the awakening of his incredible new Orange Piccolo transformation, which made his strength many times greater than ever before.

Although Piccolo had a great showing in this arc, fans never got to see his most powerful technique, although most have surmised that it remains his signature move; Special Beam Cannon. As such, due to his violent and dangerous newfound strength, the version of the attack in Piccolo's Orange state is much stronger than ever before.

Broly's massive Ki ball could have blown up the earth

Strongest Form: Full Powered Super Saiyan

Broly's unnatural and freakish potential is truly unmatched as he was able to use it to close the gap between himself and Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue forms in their first ever real fight, without even necessarily going all-out. Since then, Saiyans have learned to control their power by fully manifesting their strength in a controlled, Full Powered Super Saiyan form.

While Broly's attacks have never been given a proper name, it can be assumed that the massive energy ball he used in his debut film might just be his strongest move, purely due to its size and the danger it posed. Of course, this could all change when the manga returns and fleshes out his character even more, but for now, this is Broly's most devastating attack.

Vegeta can use the power of destruction in his attacks

Strongest Form: Ultra Ego

• The power of the destroyers.

Vegeta's all-new Ultra Ego transformation still has some issues to work out, but there's no denying that it's probably the most offensively powerful form of the bunch. Due to him finally unlocking a unique state that allows him to use the power of the Gods of Destruction, Vegeta's strength is now comfortably on par with Goku and the others, especially with its unique ability to grow stronger with the more damage he takes.

Like Broly, Vegeta's new attacks don't have names yet, but it can be deduced that the massive orb he used in his fight against Granolah is likely his strongest. This is because it was the biggest attack he used that had the most destruction energy within it, so it may have destroyed everything it would have come in contact with if Granolah hadn't destroyed it before it could.

Gohan can now use the strongest version of the special beam cannon

Strongest Form: Beast Gohan

• His teacher's ultimate move.

At this stage, Gohan is very easily in the hunt for the most powerful League of Death in the multiverse. This is due to his incredible Gohan Beast transformation that he unlocked in the Super Hero arc, which saw him fully utilize his awesome potential to unlock a power that rivals his father's Ultra Instinct. With it, he defeated Cell Max without much effort.

In the same arc, Gohan revealed that he had not been sitting idle after the Tournament of Power ended, but had instead been training in secret. In addition to this, he particularly focused on learning and perfecting his best friend's ultimate move, the Special Beam Cannon, which he ended up doing quite successfully as this was the attack that took Cell Max down for good.

Goku's Spirit Avatar is unlike anything we've ever seen

Strongest Form: Ultra Instinct

Ever since the start of Dragon Ball Superthe ultimate goal in Goku's quest to become stronger is revealed to be Ultra Instinct. He finally achieved this state in the Tournament of Power, producing a power that allowed his body to move autonomously so that it could avoid danger on its own while putting all of its focus on offense.

However, since the end of the tournament, this technique has proven to be much more versatile than people thought, especially due to Goku's amazing Spirit Avatar. Basically, it forms a massive version of the warrior made of pure energy, greatly increasing not only his size but also his strength. So far this seems to be the ultimate use of Ultra Instinct due to its awesome power.
