Fans of Solo Leveling only has one thing on my mind at the moment, and that is a new season for the anime. At the end of the day, Solo Leveling is a popular anime series, and that's what fans will care about the most. After the remarkable success of Solo Leveling Season 2, it's no surprise to know that Season 3 is highly anticipated among all fans, and this is especially true considering the content it will adapt from the Manhwa.
As a Japanese person living in Japan, the anime is not at the level of Dragon Ball, One Piece or Naruto. But if season three happens, that's when I really want to break that line. — Solo Leveling Producer
Solo Leveling Season 3 is going to be an absolute sensationand it will surely reach unprecedented heights when it comes out. Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation of a season 3 yetalthough the staff has been open about their plans for it, and what they intend to do with it once it comes out, along with when they think it should come out.
Regardless of all that, there are reports that Solo Leveling is getting a new movie soonand it should happen by the end of 2026, if reports from the series production committee are to be believed. That said, the film would be in pre-production stages, meaning it could very well be pushed back to 2027 as well.
Either way, fans know full well that Solo Leveling isn't done yet, and that it still has a bright future. It is really exciting for all the fans of the series.
Solo Leveling is getting a Live Action series soon
-
New project managed by Netflix
-
To be recorded in April 2026
While Solo Leveling getting a new movie, potentially in late 2026 or maybe early 2027, is great, there are also other projects that fans need to turn their attention to. The latest that is now officially announced is a live-action one. Solo Leveling is getting proper live action soon enoughand it will be absolutely sensational when it comes out.
Netflix is behind the Solo Leveling live-action adaptationand while they haven't had a notable success, as far as live-action adaptations go, Solo Leveling could very well be different. This is because it is reported that the Solo Leveling live-action effects team will be on a completely different level than anything fans have seen before.
I am the record of your battles, the proof of your resistance and the reward of your sufferings. I am death, I am eternal rest, I am terror. — Ashborn to Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling Manhwa
Best must-watch anime for solo leveling fans
Fans of Solo Leveling should check out these other action-packed animes, which share similar themes and characters.
This makes sense as Solo Leveling is very combat focused and will require the best of the best, in terms of effects. Depending on the success of the live-action adaptation, Solo Leveling may continue to reach newer heights, ones not seen before in the live-action department. One Piece is the only other live action that has been reasonably successfulbut even then it has its fair share of critics who don't like what it does to Oda's story. Maybe Solo Leveling will set a new standard and make everyone see why anime live-actions aren't so bad after all.
Filming for Solo Leveling Live Action will begin soon
Based on the latest reports, it seems filming for Solo Leveling live-action will begin in April 2026. This means that this project will likely come out sometime in 2027, although an official release date has not been given to fans yet. Filming should take at least a couple of months, and then there's also post-production to take into account.
All these things together should take at least up to a year, or maybe even a bit longer. In that case, The Solo Leveling live-action adaptation will most likely come out around mid-2027. This may even coincide with the Solo Leveling anime movie, and that would mean that next year will be quite busy for the Solo Leveling series as a whole. Fans have a lot to be excited about.
Solo Leveling may continue to dominate soon
-
New game released in 2026
-
New movie and live action on the way
At this point, it is quite clear that Solo Leveling tries to dominate in all areas. There are already exciting Solo Leveling games out there, and the anime department has already been taken over by Solo Leveling, with the first two seasons receiving great response from all fans. If Solo Leveling continues to deliver an incredible movie as well, the series is sure to set a new standard for animeas a whole.
Now there is one Solo Leveling live action to consider too. Depending on how good this live-action adaptation is, fans could very well see an era of dominance for Solo Leveling. Of course, Solo Leveling doesn't have as much content as fans would have liked, but that doesn't matter because there is also a sequel, called Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, which is just as good, if not better, than the original Solo Leveling. Fans should look out for a great adaptation of Ragnarok's story as well.
Either way, fans know that the era of Solo Leveling dominance is here, and this franchise will continue to become an even bigger name in the years to come. 2026 already has some great Solo Leveling projects in the works, including the new game Solo Leveling: Karma, and a lot more coming with it. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while they wait for more news about the third season. There has been no major announcement about a third season so far.
