Why the real Imu will arrive in the land of giants
The biggest plot points to it One Piece chapter 1179 could unravel is the arrival of St. Imu in Elbaf. Towards the end of the last chapter, Luffy and Loki were able to successfully handle Imu in battle. When the World Sovereign tried to use Domi Reversi's power on Luffy and Loki, it clearly failed for some reason. Immediately after, Luffy dealt a fatal blow to Imu, and Loki decided to freeze the world's sovereign. At this point, Imu erased their influence from Gunko's body and returned to the Sacred Land. In a message to the five elders, Imu clearly said that they would leave the Holy Land for a short time, and there is only one place for them to be, and that is the Warland of Elbaf.
One Piece chapter 1179 will most likely see Imu appear in the land of war through the chasm carved into Aurust Castle in the land. As such, the threat facing the Straw Hat Pirates and the Giant in the Arch may end up in the roof itself. Ever since the story began, Imu has never abandoned the empty throne even once. Loki Vs The Sovereign Of The World is on the cards
As Imu's arrival in Elbaf approaches with the release of One Piece chapter 1179, one must remember that the country is currently in a dire situation. While the vast majority of the Domi Reversi giants have been dealt with, all the fires put out and the children rescued, that doesn't mean the danger is over. With the arrival of Imu, Elbaf faces certain destruction, and what's worse is that Luffy isn't around to face him anymore. After harnessing the power of Gear 5, Luffy is out of energy and needs meat before he can continue the battle. This leaves only Loki behind to face Imu, and alone he really can't do it.
One Piece chapter 1179 will most likely focus on Imu vs Loki, with Luffy out of the picture for now. This will allow Imu to showcase his true level of power to the fans against a being so strong that he defeated King Harald, who was even stronger than Rock's D. Xebec. It is possible that Imu's true face will finally be revealed, and more than that, their Devil Fruit ability may also be showcased.

Either way, it's going to be incredibly chaotic in Elbaf, and as it stands, there seems to be no way for the Straw Hat Pirates to win this battle. It must be remembered that Imu is the same threat that even managed to kill Joy Boy in the Void Century, and a force so strong that even six absolute monsters in the God Valley could not scratch them. For Luffy and Loki to stand a chance against Imu is completely impossible at this point, and the only thing they can do is retreat.
Why the end of Elbaf is now underway
With the arrival of Saint Imu Nerona in Elbaf, it is abundantly clear that the climax of this arc is now underway, and that it is drawing to a close with each passing chapter. Imu's arrival in Elbaf will trigger the final sequence of events in this arc. If there is an all-out battle to be held in Elbaf, Oda will likely focus on that starting in the next few chapters.
As this battle rages, there can only be one winner, and that is Saint Imu. In the coming chapters, the Straw Hat Pirates and the Giants will face utter defeat at the hands of the world's sovereign. If Imu does indeed land in Elbaf, then it's impossibly hard to predict the outcome of this arc. It is possible that Elbaf falls, and if so the Straw Hat Pirates fall with it. On the other hand, there is absolutely no way that Imu can be defeated in this arc of One Piece, which means that Oda has something in mind beyond any fan's imagination.
In a couple of chapters, this vision from the legendary creator of the series will finally begin to take shape, and fans will be able to visualize the incredible ending he has planned for this legendary arc. In both cases, the defeat of the Straw Hat Pirates appears imminent in the Elbaf arc. It is also possible that this part of the story will mirror the Sabaody Archipelago Arc from before the time jump. Things are heating up, and it's only a matter of time before this arc reaches its climax.
