WWE 2K25s Farewell Tour Edition Pack DLC is now available, along with a special Farewell Tour Edition of the game for those who have yet to pick it up. To celebrate the legendary John Cena's historic in-ring career, which is coming to an end soon, the Farewell Tour Edition Pack brings four more wrestlers WWE 2K25including two more versions of Cena himself.
The list of WWE 2K25 was already the biggest of any game in franchise history when it launched in mid-March. Through the release of several DLC packs, more than 20 more wrestlers have already joined that list since the game's launch, and unlockable game modes like The Island and MyFACTION have further increased those numbers with features like Persona Cards.

Cena is one of the most decorated professional wrestlers in history. As the wrestling world prepares for the end of his 23-year WWE career on December 13, WWE 2K25 DLC celebrating Cena's retirement is now available, after only being announced earlier in October. This pack brings out two alternate versions of Cena to the many already included in the game. One will be instantly recognizable to today's fans, showing the look and heel persona he had back in April, when he defeated Cody Rhodes for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 41. The other version takes a trip back in time and highlights Cena's early rap days as the Doctor of Thuganomics, a role that was the first prototype he was given after his management failed.
Also included in the package is Ron Cena, a humorous cameo by Ron “R-Truth” Killings, who has often cited Cena as his childhood hero even though Cena was five years younger than him and Killings joined WWE nearly two years before him. More controversially, the final wrestler included in the package is Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was previously removed from WWE games, including WWE 2K24 and WWE SuperCar,d after naming him in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, although he is not listed as a defendant in that case.
Fan reactions to the pre-launch DLC have been mixed. Some have eagerly awaited Lesnar's return to the game series, with mentions of him seemingly overshadowing the 17-time world champion the DLC was released for. Others have expressed disappointment that the release of this new content is not included WWE 2K25 Season Pass, continues a trend that also includes characters like Aleister Black and the Nation of Domination version of The Rock that require additional purchase.
