The case, which is made by PowerA, has an adorable Astro Bot-theme design and allows users to load their controller with it inside. There is also an accessory pocket to store the charging cable, thanks to the cable feedthrough. This protective case comes with the aforementioned Red Panda Plushie, which is made by Youtooz. As the name suggests, it's based on the cute animal bots seen in the game, albeit in a much more squishy form. According to the website, this 9-inch tall Red Panda Plushie is “packed to the seams with 100% PP cotton and is made from the softest minky material.” It has a predominantly orange and brown body, with a white muzzle and what are described as “happy blue eyes.”

It is unclear how long this will last Astro Bot release will be available, so interested fans may want to pre-order sooner rather than later. However, it should be noted that the case is only compatible with DualSense Wireless Controllers. Unfortunately, this means that those with the more expensive DualSense Edge will not be able to use Astro Bot– themed case.

Astro Bot's free DLC levels make the game even better

It's nice to see Astro Bot continues to gain recognition over a year after its original release. In addition to accessories like this new pack and the previously released Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense Controller, Team Asobi has released additional in-game content for the game. Notably, the game received several free DLC levels that took advantage of the abilities in Astro Botand more VIP bots from franchises like Final Fantasy and Helldivers 2 was added to the game. There was even a Christmas tier introduced at the end of 2024.

It remains to be seen what the future holds Astro Bot. Fortunately, the game has been considered a success and sold millions of copies, meaning that a new game in the series may be coming in the future. Of course, there's also the possibility that more DLC could come to 2024's Astro Bot. For now, fans will have to settle for trying to set new records in the speedrun levels in the meantime.
