This can not be just a problem in Japan

Similar to many other monster hunting mangasies, Kaiju No. 8 is a very Japan-centered story, which means that readers barely ever get to see what happens in Other countries. It is repeatedly said that even though Japan is the region with the largest number of constant Kaiju attacks, its anti-Kaiju fighters are known around the world, which means that this threat must be a global issue.

Unfortunately, as promising as this concept is, manganese never showed how other countries handle Kaiju and left them with many issues in the process. Does other countries have a defense force? Have they developed similar anti-Kaiju weapons? Do they also have their own famous fighting? If this series were to receive a follow-up in the future, it would be fascinating to see anti-Kaiju warriors from other nations in action.

Will humanity ever eradicate the Kaiju threat?

It was a very open conclusion

In the last chapters in Kaiju No. 8Kafka Hibino and his friends finally manage to kill Daikaiju from the Meireki era and continue to live happy lives while working together in anti-Kaiju defense strength. That is true, at the end of the story Kaiju continues to exist and still attack Japan regularly. Only now is Kafka and the company is strong enough to take on any challenge after defeating such a powerful monster.

For a story that focused so much on a bunch of invading monsters, this Open conclusion is unusual. The world of Kaiju No. 8 Seems like a terrible place to live in and no matter how strange anti-kaiju defense force becomes, these animals will continue to terrorize and destroy it over and over again. It is completely unknown whether they (or anyone else in this exciting world) will ever discover a proper way to eliminate this threat to humanity once and for all.

Where did Daikaiju come from the Meireki era from?

The mysterious origin of one of the main antagonists of the series

Kaiju No. 9 was the main overall antagonist in this story for a long time, and in one of the last chapters, Hans Backstory was finally revealed to the readers. It turns out he was chosen and guided by an even greater threat, the infamous Daikaiju from the Meireki -eranA gigantic and general animal that almost destroyed the entire Kanto region many years ago.

This notorious antique daikaiju became the “big bath” in the series and seeing it fighting against Kafka, mine, chickoe and all other characters were as epic as it was satisfying. Still, most fans still can't help but wonder: Where exactly this monster came from? Why was it so powerful? How could it manipulate # 9? As impressive and scary as this Daikaiju was, its backstory and motivations were never completely explained, which may have been a disappointment for some readers.

Why did the mysterious larva Kafka choose?

Does Kafka's Kaiju form have other abilities?

Throughout the series, Kafka showed many interesting and powerful abilities as he turned into the title Kaiju No. 8. He was extremely strong, supple and resistant, while being able to release destructive energy attacks. In addition, he unlocked an even stronger second form during the last battle when he chose to sacrifice his own human heart.

However, it is repeatedly suggested that both Kafka's Kaiju forms have even more useful abilities, but unfortunately the story was interrupted before he could explore them. For example, there is the mystery of his form shift. While he sometimes generated jaws throughout his body that helped him in battle, back in the early chapters (when he could not control his newfounds), this ability was so versatile that Kafka could completely change his physical body and even play a bunch of tentacles. The Figures weapons was undoubtedly one of the coolest and most exciting parts of Kaiju No. 8'Kaiju-centered power system. They are a collection of weapons made of corpses from some of the most powerful monsters that have attacked Japan. Many of them were shown throughout the story, and they really did not, like Gen Narumis number Weapon 1, Isao Shinomiya's number Weapon 2, Reno Ichikawas number Weapon 6, etc.

Howver, there are Three Confirmed Numberred Kaiju Who Were Turned Into Numbers Weapons, Yet They Were Never See at Any Point In The Story: Kaiju No. 3, Kaiju No. 5, and Kaiju No. 7. It is unknown what happended to them and who currently has them in their possession, so it'd be amazing to finally see them in action someday, whether it's in original anime-unly scenes or in a sequel manga.

Will Kafka and Mine end up together?

The main romance of the series has never been materialized
