After playing Arknights: Endfield in about 30 minutes you will already be introduced to the gacha system of the game, where you can see a specific character on the Chartered Headhunting banner. These are limited characters that can only be drawn until the two banners after their rate-up.
However, Yvonne is a special case because you can get her even before her rate-up banner on the launch version of the game. She is a six-star striker who uses pistols as her weapon. Once you build her with the best weapons and gear, you can easily defeat bosses with her in no time.

Once you pull Yvonne from one of the Chartered Headhunting banners she's on, your first task is to assign her the best possible weapon you have. This will give her a huge stat boost in the long run. Of course, Yvonne's best weapon is undoubtedly her signature Artzy Tyrannical.

The gear system in Arknights: Endfield is much better than similar systems in other games because it doesn't have that much randomness. Each gear you craft will show you the stats before it is made, and you only need to create each gear type for Yvonne once as long as you do it from her best set.
Yvonne gets most used from the set effect of MI Securitymaking it the best endgame for her. But you also have some other options for the early game until you can reach the golden gear:

As soon as you get into the battle system of Arknights: Endfield, you will quickly realize that you can use up to four characters in a team. When you reach the endgame, have good synergies between these four characters will be the deciding factor between your victory and defeat.
It's the same for Yvonne, and while she has a decent F2P team including Xaihi, Estella and Snowshine, you will get the most value from having Gilberta with you along with the first two. You can also try using Last Rite with Snowshine and Xaihi, although the shared Striker effect between Yvonne and Last Rite makes this team a bit difficult.
Both Yvonne and Last Rite need to consume Cryo Inflictions for some of their abilities, though you must ignore Last Rite's consumption if you want Yvonne to do the most damage.
Here's how all the teammates mentioned above help Yvonne:

Gilberta can apply Nature Infliction to the enemies with her combat skill and Ultimate, while pulling them close together with the former. It can help Yvonne get her Ultimate faster and beat a bunch of enemies with his fighting skill. Gilberta also applies Art Susceptibility to the enemies with her Ultimate.

Xaihi is undoubtedly a formidable teammate for Yvonne as she can heal her, apply Cryo Infliction with her combo skill, give Cryo and Arts Amp to her under the right circumstancesand increase Cryo DMG taken by the enemy.

Estella is a decent teammate for Yvonne, but she becomes much better when Gilberta is also on the team due to the Lifted synergy. Without Gilberta, Estella's job in the team is to apply Cryo Infliction with his combat skill.

Snowshine can parry an enemy's attack to apply Cryo Infliction, which can then be absorbed by Yvonne. She can also force Solidification with her Ultimate and massively heal the team with her abilities.

Finally, Last Rite can apply Cryo Infliction when you trigger her skill and then the controlled operator uses the final strike. Although she can also apply Cryo Susceptibility to enemies when she consumes Arts Infliction, you generally won't get to use that buff.
Yvonne Ability Overview And Upgrade Priority
If you want to use Yvonne effectively, it's important to understand exactly what her abilities do:

Her combat skill throws a bomb at the enemy that deals AoE damage. If this bomb hits enemies with Cryo or Nature Infliction, it consumes them immediately apply Solidification to them while gaining ultimate energy based on expended Infliction stacks.

Her combo skill triggers when your controlled operator uses the final attack on an enemy with Solidification. It creates a bot that pulls in enemies and applies another solidification at the end. If this is applied successfully, she gains even more Ultimate energy.

Yvonne's Ultimate allows her to enter a special stance that allows her to constantly shoot at an enemy. With each attack she gains some Crit Rate stacks. When these stacks reach maximum, she also gets a Crit DMG boost. Both of these buffs last until the end of Ultimate.

The last attack of the Ultimate is considered a final attack, and if it hits an enemy with Solidificationcan it handle another attack.

Yvonne gains additional Crit DMG against enemies that have the Solidification effect.
In order to use her skills properly, you basically want to has Solidification on an enemy for the duration of her Ultimate. When it comes to upgrades, Yvonne's Ultimate is the priority because you get the most damage from that but the fighting skill is also very important. You can only upgrade her combo skill 3rd and her basic attack if you are going to use her as the controlled operator.
