One of the most popular Dungeons & Dragons subclasses for the large amount of role -playing opportunities and unique character design, Warlocks gets its power through a pact with powerful creatures. They do this as a quick path to power that often comes with warnings and demands, especially if they are made with an enemy.

But not all Warlock protectors are evil, and some can be good-natured and willing to offer power to all creatures that are worth enough to strive for fair goals. Although it is difficult to justify just any good creature as a warlock protector, some are particularly suitable for the role.

Ancient gold dragon

The oldest and wisest of the metallic dragons, gold dragons value courage, kindness and only actions of good. Gold dragons can also take the form of humanoids and animals and hike the deadly world as another adventurer and spread goodwill wherever they go.

A gold dragon can become a Warlock protector under the promise that they do not abuse their power or use it to achieve a specific goal, such as defeating a Lich or Rival Chromatic Dragon. In addition, each metallic dragon can act as a Warlock protector depending on their original environment or preferred elementary aesthetics.

Although it is usually neutral, crystal dragons can also make a unique Warlock protector.

Solar

A angel -like creature and one of the stronger heavenly creatures, solar is the result of the creation of gods or as a result of any divine event. As a result, the sun is devoted to a specific God, or less to ideologies that represent a specific sacred unity or religion.

One of many subspecies of Naga, a guardian Naga is an immortal, snake -like monstrosity obsessed with gathering lore and secrets. After living for many centuries, a Guardian Naga is beyond wise and intelligent, with access to many unique magical pieces and powerful secrets.

In order not to be able to scrub the world alone, a guardian Naga can invoke a warlock to seek pieces of lore and magic to return to Naga in return for power. They can also set restrictions on this power, for example to ensure that knowledge does not enter the wrong hands or used for evil purposes.

A spirit is the evil equivalent of a Guardian Naga, if you want to create a balance between both in your pact dynamics.

Ki-Kry

Seen as a blessing of happiness if you even see a Ki-Kry, these unicorns-esque heavenly creatures sometimes work for gods or devote themselves to providing sanctuary to the innocent or healing their injuries. Like a dragon, Ki-Kry also collects tax, but as a source for offers rather than just hamstring.

Ki-Kry also has unique abilities while in their clay that allows them to create ornaments, cure illnesses and reject evil creatures. A Ki-Kry that acts as a Warlock protector may demand that they distribute their wealth to the needy or release them in captivity under evil forces.

Djinni

The classic image of a floating, blue genie that sprouts from an oil lamp, a djinni will temporarily serve under mortals that freed them and offer them great gifts in the form of wishes. Djinni is also complicated creatures, which are often pleased to interfere with the natural order in favor of mortals they have benefited.

Creatures of pure feelings and manifestations of the beauty themselves, empyicism are the children of heavenly creatures and even the gods themselves. Often less thought provoking than their parents, empyreans act on their emotions and charge ruthlessly in any situation.

For this purpose, a charming warlock can be sufficiently convincing to offer its services to an empyle, swear loyalty to their deified parenting in return for a fraction of their power. However, an empyle is a risky protector, as their power can easily be turned towards you if you turn your back to them.

Lives living in one of the outer planes called Beastlands, animal lords are god -like heavenly who embodies and maintain dominance over the animals they represent. This leaves a fairly open interpretation like Animal Lord who works as your Warlock protector and which animal matches their personality.

Perhaps the spirit of the wolves embodies, requires loyalty and packing that rely on maintaining the integrity of your adventure party. Or even a rat, who represents the down and forgotten, while demanding that all life be treated as equally in value.
