Gyarados
Mega Gyarados base stat is 640
Although Florges has a slightly higher base stat than 
GyaradosGen 1 Pokémon have the advantage thanks to the strength of its Mega Evolution. Mega Gyarados has a monstrous attack stat and can use it with powerful physical attacks like Crunch and Waterfall. As an added bonus, players can get their hands on Gyarados fairly early on, as Magikarp is one of six Pokemon available in Wild Zone 2.

Gyarados can be found in Wild Zone 11, and an Alpha Gyarados can be found in Wild Zone 20. Players can also obtain Gyarados by evolving Magikarp at level 20. To Mega Evolve Gyarados, players need an Orb of Gyaradosite, which can be obtained from the Quasartico Mega Shard Exchange for 240 Mega Shards.

Starmie
Mega Starmies Base Stat Total is 660
Mega Starmie is one of several new Mega Evolutions that has been criticized for its ridiculous design, but when it comes to stats, it's one of the best out there. Most Pokemon only get 100 base stat points when they Mega Evolve, but for some reason, Starmie gains 140. Doing so makes it one of the best water types in Pokemon Legends: ZAand can hit hard with both physical and special attacks.

Starmie can be found in Wild Zone 16, and an Alpha Starmie can be found in Wild Zone 20. Players can also obtain Starmie by using a Water Stone on Staryu. To Mega Evolve Starmie, players need an Orb of Starminite, which can be obtained by completing Main Mission 34.
Mega Metagross base stat is 700
Metagross is one of the most popular Pseudo legendaries in the franchise due to his incredible bulk and impressive power. The return of Mega Evolution further sweetens the deal Metagross to a bunch of amazing immunities and resistances and an incredible 150 defense stat. Its attack stat isn't too far behind, allowing the Steel/Psychic type to dish out damage just as well as it can take it.

Salamence
Mega Salamence's base stat is 700
Salamence isn't quite as durable as Metagross, but it can hit just as hard. It works best as a physical attacker, although it can still do a good enough job with Special moves if needed. This bodes well, as well Salamence can learn Flamethrower, which can be incredibly useful if an opponent tries to exploit their 4x weakness to ice-type attacks. Mega Salamence isn't half bad either.

Tyrants
Mega Tyranitar's base stat is 700
Tyranitar has many weaknesses, the most notable being its 4x weakness to fighting-type attacks. However, Tyrants is completely immune to Psychic-type moves and hits like a ten-ton truck thanks to its monstrous 134 Attack stat, which only two other non-Mega Evolutions can beat. Mega Tyranitar is even stronger and can be incredibly hard to beat due to its 150 Defense.

Mega Dragonite's base stat is 700
Dragonite is another Gen 1 Pokemon that was offered a Mega Evolution in Pokemon Legends: ZAand Mega Dragonite does not disappoint. After Mega Evolving, Dragonite gets a huge boost to his Special Attack and Special Defense stats. This makes it hit ridiculously hard with Blizzard, making it an excellent counter to most of the other Mega Evolved Dragon types in Pokemon Legends: ZA.

Mega Garchomp's base stat is 700
The last Pseudo-Legendary i Pokemon Legends: ZAbut far from the least when it comes to power. When Mega was developed, Garchomp has the second highest attack stat in the game, with only Mega Heracross beating it. Unlike Mega Heracross, Mega Garchomp is also a competent special attacker, allowing it to make use of Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, and other powerful counters for Dragon types.

An Alpha Garchomp can be found in Wild Zone 20. Players can also obtain Garchomp by evolving Gabite at level 48. To Mega Evolve Garchomp, players need an Orb of Garchompite, which they can purchase from the Stone Emporium for ₽70,000 after completing Main Mission 10.

Xerneas
Xernea's base stats total is 680
More than a decade since the debut as the box Legendary for Pokémon X, Xerneas makes its triumphant return, rocking the same 680 base stats that made it so popular back in the day. Unlike most of the strongest Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: ZAXerneas doesn't need Mega Evolution to dominate, thanks to its 131 Attack and Special Attack stats. It is also completely immune to Dragon-type attacks, making it an excellent counter to many of the Pseudos.

Players can capture Xerneas during Main Mission 40, which becomes available after completing the main story.

Yveltal
Yveltal's base stat is 680
As Xerneas, Yveltal has 131 Attack and Special Attack stats, making it incredibly versatile. It is immune to both ground and psychic type attacks and resistant to Ghost, Grass, and Dark, which can be very handy when hunting down Alphas in the postgame. When it comes to damage, powerful special moves like Focus Blast, Hyper Beam, and Hurricane make it a deadly foe for those unlucky enough to encounter it.

Zygarde
Mega Zygarde's Base Stat Total is 778
Zygarde would always be the strongest Pokemon available in Pokemon Legends: ZAbut few could have predicted how powerful Order Pokémon would become. When Mega was developed, Zygarde gives a total base stat of 778, which is 78 clear of the second best Pokemon at launch. Most of that goes to its 216 Special Attack stat, which is the highest in series history, beating the previous record holder (Mega Mewtwo Y) by 22.

Players can capture Zygarde during Main Mission 42, which becomes available after completing the main story. In order to Mega Evolve Zygarde needs an Orb of Zygardite, which they get during Main Mission 37.
