The new Flickering Flames event is live in Arc Raidersmeaning players can experience the new Cold Snap event, complete a brand new project, and even throw some snowballs at each other! Similar to the expedition, you'll need to find a variety of materials to donate, many of which were items you really didn't have much use for until now.
One of these is the music album, of which you need two if you want to complete the final stage of the Flickering Flames project. This is where you'll find this item, so you don't waste time just running around.
Where to find music albums
To find music albums, you want to stick to any site that has Residential or commercial oriented material. Thankfully, this limits our search area to a few specific areas across the five maps. These are:
- By the Blue Gate
- Departure building at the spaceport
- Plaza Rosa or Grandiosa Apartments on Buried City
Of these places, the village of the blue gate is by far the best choice for locating any type of residential or commercial material. This is largely due to the high density of searchable buildings, each of which has several apartments inside. You will want to look in all cupboards, chests of drawers, lockers or suitcasesbecause that's where decorative materials are usually found.
Alternatively Spaceport has some solid points of interest which has commercial prey. Of the options, I've always been a fan of the Departure Building because it's split into multiple floors, offices, and has tons of desks that you can usually loot. The arrivals building is also another good location, as it shares many similarities with the departures building.
All that being said, Buried City is probably the most well-known and consistent place that players go to hunt for trinkets. This is because almost the entire southern part of the map has a residential and commercial theme. Both Grandioso Apartments and Plaza Rosa are obvious choices — especially the latter, since the apothecary has plenty of chests of drawers to raid on the second floor.
A place that many miss is actually in second floor of the hospital. There is a room at the north end with a lots of cupboards. Although the hospital is exclusively medical, these cabinets often have lots of trinkets and can be a great place to specifically look for items like the music album.
You want that too look for this item in either Night Raids or the new Cold Snap event if possible. This is because these increase the rarity of items found, making it a little more likely that you'll be able to find multiple music albums in a single run. Just be sure to bring an Augment, as you'll want to keep this item in your Safe Pocket to ensure it actually makes the trip so you can donate it!
