MythForce is a roguelike with a cartoon aesthetic, starring heroes and villains that would fit right into a Saturday morning cartoon. Players can choose from multiple characters, each with a starting charge, from mages to mighty knights.
Enemies come in waves as they enter a new room, and players must roast them with fire, fill them with arrows, and cut them to ribbons before they can move on. It's a standard roguelike premise with temporary upgrades and permanent ones that come after runs. Plus, there's co-op to make things a little easier.

Little Tina's wonderland
Fantasy Borderlands
Little Tina's wonderland is one Borderlands spinoff set in a true-to-life board game called Bunkers and Badasses, with Tiny Tina telling a masterfully weird story as the central narrative. Instead of exploring semi-open maps, players will move from mission zone to mission zone via an old-school world map Final Fantasy game.
There's still plenty of shooting, but the weapons have more imagination, along with all the enemies. It may not have completely nailed its premise, but Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a good spinoff with plenty of action, either alone or with friends.

Immortals of Aveum takes place in a war-torn world where magic is basically used instead of weapons. Players can equip different bracers and sigils to give them new magic types that mimic classic firearms. There are sniper rifles, rocket launchers, standard assault rifles, shotguns, and more.
It's one of the coolest magic systems for a shooter in years, even if the weapons don't exactly look like weapons. Additionally, players can strike at enemies and even block attacks with a magical shield. Finding loot, testing new builds and upgrading can be a lot of fun in this single player focused game.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 allows players to create their character and then go on an adventure in a variety of countries. They will have to stop monsters from invading villages and will rebuild them to prosperity in the process.

Avowed has one of the best magic systems in an RPG in a long time, along with a colorful world to explore in many biomes. Players can customize their character and build them however they want, but magic has many uses outside of combat, making it stand out more.
For example, using ice magic can freeze lakes and create shortcuts. Wands are satisfying to use, Grimoires are full of spells to try out, and the actual spell tree has plenty to choose from. Beyond that, the combat feels remarkably fresh for a first-person game, which is impressive because melee-based combat can be tricky to nail down, but Avowed made it work.

Minecraft is certainly one of the greatest first-person games ever made, even if the fantasy elements are more low-fi. There are no sweeping quests or epic stories Minecraftbut the creativity can be endless. That's why it's been popular for over a decade, because it's fun for all ages and the learning curve is relatively easy.
