The Battlefield 6 Beta is now live for all players, which gives players a chance to test conquest, breakthrough and less infantry scale game types over a handful of the game's maps. Finding your foot can be difficult in a new title, especially one that is only available for a few days.
Those on the control unit have a myriad of menus to navigate to call their settings, some of which are in odd categories that you can't expect. Today we cover the best control settings you can use to improve your performance in Battlefield 6, which covers everything from AIM sensitivity to useful keybinds that make your gaming experience a little smoother.
Best control settings
Before we dig the advanced control options we highly recommend you Set your soldier button Preset to option. This will turn the buttons for melee and crouch, so you can hug without having to move your thumb away from the thumbstick. Crouch sprinting and being prone are extremely important in Battlefield 6, so you want to perform these traits with as few hand movements as possible.
Keybinds

The only key we are strongly suggesting to change is Steady extent. This setting will delete all Reticle turn when aiming with a long distance optics for a few seconds. If you bind it to the same input as ads, you immediately start controlling your extent when you start aiming. This also prevents you from accidentally moving because it is no longer bound to your left thumbstick, which is the same input used to move.
It is worth noting that Beta has a hard -minded squat on the “B” or “Circle” KeysDepending on your input device. You can bypass this by tying your head, prone and melee -keys manually to other inputs. If you do not merely melee, this is not much of a problem and can be more or less ignored.

The first thing you will notice when you start BF6 is how slow visibility is on controller. Fortunately, you have several options that let you call your sensitivity. Infantry AIM sensitivity is the default sensitivity from which all other settings will work. We suggest you try 40 to start and see how it feels. If you look around while not Ads feel too fast, lower it as needed.
We recommend that you use this sensitivity value for your vehicle settings as well. If vehicles still feel too sluggish, the values increase further.
For sighting there are three settings worth changing: Zoom sensitivity coefficient, aiming to the left/right acceleration and infantry zoom AIM sensitivity. The first setting should be set to 178 if you play on a 16: 9 screen. If you are playing on a TV or UltraWide, you must adjust this value. The purpose acceleration refers to how fast your ADS -camera movement matches your default sensitivity. We like it around 60, but feel free to experiment with the settings to see what feels best. For the infantry -zoom's target sensitivity, lower this until the visibility feels natural – we use 80.
Before leaving this menu, there are some extra settings worth mentioning:
- Field of view: Decides how big your peripheral vision is. Adjust this until it feels comfortable. An extremely low or high FOV can cause motion sickness in some players, so there is not an optimal value here.
- Soldier AIM Curve Input/Acceleration: Adjusts how the AIM acceleration works. If you are a battlefield veteran, set this to an older title you are familiar with. Newer players can leave this by default.
- Double Tap Crouch for Crouch Slide: We recommend that you set this to “off”, which means you automatically slip if you curve the center of the sprint. This is useful for throwing away the target's goal or to quickly get into shelter.
- Vertical target relationship: Set how fast you look vertically. At 100, it is the same as your horizontal sensitivity. We prefer 50, but this number is preferred.

For some strange reason, there are settings for control vibration and joystick deadzone at the end of the regulator menu, not general controls under the section. You want to lower your deadzone to around 0-5 brand If your controller does not experience any knitting operation. If it does, adjust the value upwards until you no longer experience passive knitting operation. If you do not like vibrations in FPS titles, you can also turn it off in this menu.
