The 80's was a monumental year for Manga. One of the most important works of all time was founded in 1984, Dragon ballA martial art adventure. Akira Toriyama may actually have created the most important manga/anime of all time. Less important, yet cool, there were Rumiko Takahashis Ranma 1/2. It was also a comic martial arts epic, but with a little romance.
Also Buronsons Fist in North Star was a more brutal martial arts story in the post-apocalypse. These are just three examples of what the 80s had to offer manga fans, but what about the 90s? Were there any important editions that then became gigantic franchises? Let's go through the whole decade.
Yu yu hakusho
A talented dadytive is found in conflict
Yu yu hakusho Created by Yoshihiro Togashi in 1990, and it had a relatively short term, which ended in 1994, with anime from 1992. With borrowed time, Yusuke chases demons in the real world, one finger burst at a time. However, the formal nature does not last long, as things take a transformation into more action territory.

The main character, Kintaro, is a kind of failure in life that has no ambitions and does odd jobs to earn cash. It is a record of life story with a lot of humor because Kintaro is a thirsty protagonist who is constantly getting stuck in problems with women.

A good looking samurai story
Immortal leaves is one of the darkest Samurai manganese around. It was created by Hiroaki Samura in 1993 and had a good, long driving until 2012. Just before this, the first anime adaptation was made in 2008, and then another 2019 was made.

The case closed May be the name that most Western fans know this series of, but Detective is the Japanese name. Hunter X Hunter is another series created by Yu Yu Hakusho's Yoshihiro Togashi. The story behind the series is quite upsetting, as it began in 1998 and it is still technically ongoing. But it has undergone more hiatus than you can count due to health problems with Togashi.
This has made it adapt to an anime tricky. The first started in 1999, ended, and then the second started in 2011 and is also finished. Whether Togashi will ever finish his work with licensed hunters, similar to Bounty hunters, but they do other things too, remains to be seen.
Naruto
One of the greatest manganese of all time
Last but not least, the very popular ninja eposet, Naruto. It began in 1999 under Masashi Kishimoto's guidance, which ended in 2014. Soon after, he began a sequel Manga, Boruto, about Naruto's son, put decades later. Anime began in 2002 and also adapted Bore story, which is still going on in manganese. Instead of stealth, these ninja fights more in the open, so it is a typical shon -style with stories with lots of battles and humor thrown in to facilitate the tension.
