Yonko Commanders are some of the most powerful individuals found in the New World One Piece. In the Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are the only Commander level pirates, but now in the Elbaf arc, Oda has made sure Franky goes on to become a Yonko Commander level pirate as well. Giving him new power-ups thanks to Vegapunk's Omni-Drain Converters, the Shipwright has taken himself to a whole new level where he can continue to fight monstrously powerful commanders and take them down. Franky's new power-up has made him incredibly strong, and what's more, his development will continue even further down the final saga.

How Franky Reached Yonko Commander Level in Elbaf
Franky reached Yonko Commander level in the Elbaf arc One Pieceagainst all odds. Most fans didn't even expect him to get a major power-up in this arc, but he sure did after Vegapunk showed off the Omni-Drain Converters technology. Essentially, these Omni-Drain converters can be used to convert natural energy into a consumable that can then provide said energy to the person. Vegapunk used Omni-Drain converters on the fires that consumed the Owl's Library and the Walrus School. These fires were then transformed into Super Vega Cola, which, when consumed by Franky, gave him incredible powers.
Franky could jump so high that he reached several hundred meters into the sky. His muscles were almost bursting with energy, and a single punch from him was so strong that it took out a Lindworm and scaled over one of Jinbe's strongest techniques, the Vagabond Drill. Clearly, the Straw Hat Shipbuilder is comparable to Jinbe in terms of overall power, officially putting him at Yonko Commander level.
How Franky's strength compares to the strongest Imperial commanders
There are many powerful commanders in the world of One Piece, and Franky is among them now. Compared to the most powerful of the lot, Franky probably isn't on that level. For example, he won't be able to defeat the likes of Katakuri or King, or even Ben Beckman. However, low level Yonko Commanders like Jack or Cracker should be beatable for him now.

Franky's total power should be comparable to Gear 4 Luffy, if not even greater. Then you also have to take into account that he has his own General Shogun as well. When combined with the power of the Omni Super Vega Cola, his total power will ensure that he can beat the likes of Jack in battle. Basically, Franky should be close to a billion berry pirates in power now, and that makes him a force to be reckoned with in the new world.

Why Armament Haki is his next upgrade in the final saga
Franky is already a monstrously powerful individual with his new Super Vega Cola Power-up. However, he can become even stronger if he learns to consciously control Haki. In the Egghead arc, he may have subconsciously used Haki when fighting Mars, but it's clear that he doesn't have control over this ability yet. In the Final Saga of One Piece, especially when pitted against the World Government, Franky can continue to harness the power of Haki. When he does, his overall skill will be taken to a whole new level. This will increase his durability but also his offensive output, taking him beyond the level of the weakest commanders and pushing him up a level.
The Straw Hats will have the strongest cyborg in a piece of history
By the end of One Piece, Franky should establish himself as the strongest cyborg. His body is already comparable to the likes of the Pacifistas, but considering that he can make use of Super Vega Cola and even Haki later on, he will surely surpass all the Pacifistas. He is also equipped with Kizaru's laser, so his overall offensive ability will be at a very high level, especially when boosted with Super Vega Cola and Haki. Franky should be able to become as strong as the most powerful Yonko commanders One Piece world. By the end of the story, he should be strong enough to fight the likes of Katakuri and King, which is expected of someone in the crew of the future Pirate King.
