Starfield achievements for Terran Armada tease unannounced features

StarfieldThe Terran Armada feats are officially out, with several of them hinting at some previously unannounced changes. Bethesda published the list prematurely, several days before the new one Starfield The DLC is scheduled to go live.

Starfield's Terran Armada DLC was officially announced on March 17th. It will be released on April 7 and debuts alongside the Free Lanes patch, which Bethesda describes as the game's biggest free update to date. The developer recently previewed the upcoming update DLC duo with a three-minute trailer and an extensive accompanying description of new features and content that will debut later this month. Now, however, it appears that the preview was incomplete, at least as far as the game's second premium expansion is concerned.

Starfield launches on PS5 on April 7 alongside the Free Lanes and Terran Armada DLC in the game's biggest, most defining update since launch.

Starfield's Terran Armada Achievement List hints at unannounced features and more

The full Terran Armada achievement list went live on Steam on April 3rd, four days before the DLC was released. The listing suggests that the upcoming expansion will introduce additional features and content that Bethesda didn't mention in its March 2026 previews, whether on purpose or not. For example, the Master of Magnetism achievement refers to a brand new one Starfield place called New Babylon, where players will have to destroy a robot on behalf of an individual or group called Ivica.

Another revealing performance from the recently shared list is Overclocked, which suggests that Participate, Starfields new morally gray robot companion arriving as part of the Terran Armada, will be upgradeable. The extent of these upgrades is still unclear, but there are apparently enough of them that Bethesda decided to add an achievement to unlock them all. Meanwhile, the This for That trophy suggests that Terran Armada will introduce a significant new mechanic: the ability to hand over outposts to factions. Exactly how this system will work is still unclear, leaving open questions like whether the handover is reversible and whether players retain any outpost benefits afterward.

Based on Bethesda's historical tendency to tie trophies to completing the mission, which is also reflected throughout StarfieldTerran Armada's original feat list seems poised to introduce about three or four major missions. The upcoming expansion will add 20 new achievements in total, increasing Starfields total trophy count by about 32%. In comparison, the Shattered Space DLC, which launched in September 2024, introduced 12 new achievements. That discrepancy doesn't necessarily mean that Terran Armada will offer more content than its predecessor, although Bethesda's latest preview hinted that may indeed be the case.

The arrival of Terran Armada and Free Lanes on April 7 will coincide with the launch of Starfields PlayStation 5 port. The PlayStation version has been in the works for some time, in part because it was planned during early production, scrapped after Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media in March 2021, and later greenlit again as part of the Xbox maker's multi-platform release, which began in early 2024.
