Sparxie's best team in Honkai Star Rail
Sparxie is a character that can really push the DMG ceiling Honkai: Star Rail. To be able to do that, she needs a team that works for her kit and unlocks her hidden potential. Here's Sparxie's best HSR law.
- Sparxie Premium Team: Sparxie + Yao Guang + Sparkle + Huohuo
- Sparxie Cipher Team: Sparxie + Yao Guang + Cipher + Dan Heng PT
Sparxie + Yao Guang + Sparkle + Huohuo
It is recommended to always run Yao Guang in Sparxie team i Honkai: Star Rail. Yao Guang can trigger an Aha Instant, giving Sparxie more opportunities to deal his insane elation DMG. Yao Guang also buffs Sparxie's Elation, in addition to providing many other buffs. Basically, Yao Guang is a must-have Elation support in HSR.
Like Yao Guang, Sparkle also allows Sparxie to dish out more DMG by regenerating the team's skill points and advancing Sparxie's action. Sparxie will then use up all skill points to unleash a devastating attack that can easily reach over a million DMG.
Since both Yao Guang and Sparkle allow Sparxie to dish out DMG without waiting for his action or relying on his SPD, it's better to make the most of this by building his feet on ATK% instead of SPD.
Finally, this team is complete with Yao Guang and Sparkle supporting Sparxie. The only thing missing is durability, which Huohuo can provide. She increases the team's ATK% and regenerates their energy. The ATK buff is usually negligible for Elation characters, but Sparxie needs 3600 ATK to fully activate her Trace passive, so Huohuo can help her reach this threshold.
Sparxie + Yao Guang + Cipher + Dan Heng PT
You can team Sparxie with Cipher instead of Sparkle, which will change how Sparxie's team works. Since there is no Sparkle, Sparxie won't have a character to further her plot, making her play less. It's not necessarily a disadvantage though, as Cipher records all Elation DMG from Sparxie and Yao Guang. With the extra debuffs she gives, the recorded damage is huge. In this set, Cipher replaces the Sparkle-Sparxie synergy and creates a different way to play Sparxie teams in Honkai: Star Rail.
After several Aha instances between Sparxie and Yao Guang, Cipher can wind up recording a couple of million DMG and unleash it on a single target. That blast should obviously be saved for the boss in endgame content like Pure Fiction i Honkai: Star Rail.
Since this team doesn't have Sparkle's Skill Point regeneration, it's better to trade Huohuo for a SP-positive unit like Dan Heng PT, which offers sustain and some buffs without spending Skill Points. It's also a better fit here, since Cipher won't benefit as much from Huohuo's ATK% buff or Energy regeneration if she's on a full Ultimate anyway.
