This post contains spoilers for Solo Leveling.
Solo Leveling is the most famous manhwa in the world. It already gathered a loyal fan base with the web novel version, but it only really went mainstream after the anime was released. The incredibly high quality of the anime injected a huge surge in popularity, and in no time, Solo Leveling's name was on everyone's lips.
Even though no other manhwa can match Solo Leveling's fame, that doesn't mean the series is perfect. In fact, there are many Korean web novels that are better in terms of quality.
Solo Leveling's Sung Jinwoo has already been surpassed by 1 Manhwa Protagonist
Jinwoo from Solo Leveling is the most popular Manhwa character at the moment. However, he may have some competition.

It has a higher score than Solo Leveling
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint has a score of 8.65 on MyAnimeList, which is marginally higher than Solo Leveling's 8.61. Since the site counts user points, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that fans enjoy Allscient Reader's Viewpoint more than Solo Leveling. Some people may pick up on the difference between the number of ratings, but as mentioned earlier, Solo Leveling is more popular. It does have an anime adaptation after all.
It's also worth mentioning that Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint has already confirmed its anime adaptation, but there's no news of a release date yet. A trailer for the anime was shared several months ago on Crunchyroll's official YouTube channel, and it has racked up hundreds of thousands of views. Once the anime adaptation is released, there's a good chance that Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint will come closer to Solo Leveling's fame.
The Allscient Reader's Viewpoint's anime adaptation has shared little to no details. Crunchyroll has been quiet about the adaptation, but that could change in the coming months, especially since there hasn't been any news regarding the third season of Solo Leveling. If Crunchyroll is smart, it will squeeze out the Omniscient reader's point of view to compensate for the absence of Solo Leveling. The only thing Crunchyroll needs to get right is the studio.
As fans saw recently with One Punch Man Season 3, choosing the wrong studio can negatively affect an anime. There is no doubt that the people at JC Staff did their best, but sometimes it just isn't enough. So Crunchyroll has to be careful with its choice. It is possible that A-1 Pictures will handle the production of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. After all, it is one of the best studios out there.
Solo Leveling Season 3 is not releasing anytime soon
Solo Leveling's third season remains one of the biggest talking points in the anime community. Most fans expected some sort of announcement after the second season aired, but to their surprise, Crunchyroll didn't share any information. Since then, there have been constant rumors circulating within the community, with some people suggesting that the third season is already in production.
However, there has been no credible evidence to suggest that A-1 Pictures is working on the next season of Solo Leveling. Early reports suggested that the director of Solo Leveling is busy with other projects, which is why the anime has been sidelined. This makes sense, as it would be reckless and foolish to rush the production of anime just to please the masses. A-1 Pictures should take a year or two to finish production for Solo Leveling Season 3 so that the quality is not compromised.
Another possible reason why there hasn't been any news regarding the third season is that A-1 Pictures might not be sure if it wants to make a regular anime season. Given the success of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie, it's entirely possible that A-1 Pictures has second thoughts. Solo Leveling isn't too far behind Demon Slayer in terms of popularity, at least when it comes to online presence. The studio could potentially try to release an anime film that could cover multiple arcs. If the studio doesn't release a movie instead of Season 3, there's a real possibility it could do so after.
