One Piece is currently at its peak, with Oda finally giving fans a look at the mysterious God Valley Incident after a long time. Considering that it has already reached its climax, The God Valley Incident is now nearing its endand it has been one of the most exciting segments of the manga seen in a while. Oda has revealed lots of exciting loreand big fights are going on.
Although the story has been amazing recently, a One Piece break has been long overdue. Unfortunately, the first hiatus in November has already been announced, and fans can say one thing temporary goodbye to their favorite manga after One Piece chapter 1165 on November 9th. The manga comes back two weeks after that with One Piece Chapter 1166 on November 23, 2025.

A break begins on November 9
One Piece has been going on for over 28 years now. Throughout its long run, Oda, the creator of the series, has put in quite a bit of work. Of course, One Piece's longevity has taken quite a toll on him. Working on One Piece is not easy, and fans know that Oda only gets 2-3 hours of sleep a day. As of last year, Oda has taken more frequent breaks.
October was particularly difficult for the manga, as fans only got two chapters a month. Now, in November, it looks better, though Oda is set to take his first break very soon.
After One Piece chapter 1165 is released on November 2, 2025, the series will officially go on hiatus. This break will be so that the author can plan things better and work on the next chapters of the story. Of course, this break will be temporaryand the series will return in about two weeks.
When is One Piece 1166 coming out?
One Piece returns on November 23rd
With a new break announced, fans of One Piece many are wondering when they can expect their favorite series to make a comeback. Luckily for fans, the upcoming hiatus is nothing out of the ordinary, and The One Piece manga will return as scheduled two weeks after November 9th. In other words, One Piece Chapter 1166 can be expected to be released on November 23, 2026.
Fans are really hoping this is the only break in November, which would give them at least 3 chapters this month and push the story forward.
One Piece Chapter 1165 is out this week. As usual, One Piece will be released on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece will be released at 12pm JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on November 9th. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1165 is November 9, 2025.
