Important takeaways

Good Smile has revealed its very first metaphor: ReFantazio Nendoroid.
-
The figure is modeled after the game's protagonist, giving them a typical, chibi-style Nendoroid makeover.
-
Pre-orders for the figure are now open but it won't ship until Q4 2025.
Last month Metaphor: ReFantazio arrived and likely shook up many of this year's playlists – we certainly shouldn't have expected anything less from the Persona team. Whether you're still adventuring through Euchornia or you're already done with Metaphor and can't stop thinking about it, Good Smile is here to tempt you with the game's first Nendoroid based on its unnamed main character.
Well, technically the hero has a name. It's whatever you choose to call them. It makes naming their Nendoroid a bit awkward as they have a different name depending on who is playing. That's why Good Smile has simply named them “Protagonist”. Their names don't matter here though, it's the design Metaphor fans will care about, and if Good Smile has been able to successfully apply their signature look to the character.

Hades 2 already has its own Nendoroid despite still being in early access
Take bets on what will happen first – Hades 2 leaving early access, or these Melinoe Nedoroids ships.
That's a resounding yes from me, even though I'm a fan of most of the work Good Smile does with their Nendoroids. Similar to Funko Pops, Nendoroids have a signature design shared across the collection. However, and no offense intended to Funko Pops, but Good Smile's figures tend to be quite a bit more detailed.
A highly detailed and almost certainly very popular nendoroid
While characters getting the Nendoroid treatment all get chibi-style makeovers, there's plenty of wiggle room to make sure they're still unmistakably the character the figure is modeled after. Although Metaphor's protagonist looks a bit more adorable than they do in the game, there is a lot of their original design left for the figure.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Protagonist Nendoroid
Just one month after the highly successful launch of Metaphor: ReFantazio, the game has its first Nendoroid. Its unnamed protagonist has been given a chibi makeover for the figure and is highly detailed, right down to the protagonist's heterochromia.
The Nendoroid has the same deep blue hair and white jacket as the hero in the game, and even the character's heterochromia has been incorporated into the design, a condition that causes your eyes to turn different colors. Since the Nendoroid's eyes are so much bigger than they are in the game, the one that's brown and one that's blue stand out a lot more. It might even be the first time you've noticed if you weren't paying enough attention while playing, or if you haven't gotten very far.
The downside to Nendroid pre-orders is how long you have to wait for them to ship. Metaphor's debut figure won't be released until Q4 2025. On the bright side, the figure is quite a bit cheaper than most other Nendoroids at $25.99. This may be because it doesn't seem to have as many, if any, interchangeable parts as other figures. Just a sword in hand, and even that doesn't appear anywhere else so it could be fused in place.
From the creative minds behind Persona 3, 4 and 5 comes Metaphor: ReFantazio, a unique fantasy world where your protagonist will travel with her fairy companion, Gallica, to lift the curse of the kingdom's lost prince.
